Love it!

I was wearing 34 all day! I think I can live with scoring 34 points per week...

Now, if the D can just pull it together to not let Calvin go nuts on us...

After the week that has been the score the Bears have (and with the win I might add) is 34.

Madlith: What do you think about that as a tribute? I say well done Bears.

Great thought. It didn't cross my mind either. When I saw the thread title I thought you were referring to Forte getting the long run to seal the deal.

Well the fact that he ran for 200+ yards should help convince Martz that he needs to keep the running game as an intergral part of the game.

And the fact that Forte did as you illustrated was most definitely a nice touch.

I just hope that the O-Line is able to keep up to provide holes for Forte to run through. It was a decent game even though Carolina beat us in every statistical category. The only difference was on the scoreboard. Glad we got a victory going into a very difficult Monday night game at Detroit next week.

My son asked me today who the greatest football player ever was. The answer was simple, Walter Payton. He asked if I had ever seen him play and Iwas honored to say yes. I then pulled up a YouTube clip of his highlights so he could see. My son's response..."I want a Payton Jersey!" Will do, Son...Will do.

Last Sunday I gave my son and grandson both a Matt Forte jersey for their birthdays. I wonder if they both were wearing them after Forte's solid performance.
