If the Bears are going to go after 1 big time FA, which one do you think will pay off the most?

Im torn on this one 2 reasons

Nicks, makes Cutler and Forte lives easier in both the pass and run, there still is a chance to draft a WR or even sign a wr like Royal and Draft one too

Mario- makes the entire defense better, CB and Safety both become less important of needs(still a need but not as imnportant), G-Men did it with the best Dline in the NFL. Also gets the D younger.

I have watched very little on Vjack, is this guy a top 5 WR(i know he tore the Bears up)??? I feel that you never hear him mentioned when they talk about the best WR in the NFL, Fitz, A Johnson, B Marshal, Bowe, R White, C Johnson. shit Steve Johnson got more PUB then Vjack.

Here's my thoughts...

1. Mario is the sure bet. proven, young, and will have an impact.

2. Colston is next. We are desperate for a WR. Colston catches just about everything thrown to him. He's not that old, and can help groom some younger guys. Injury and age are a concern.

3. Jackson is 3rd. His production isn't consistent. However, I think besides Mario, he has the biggest potential upside. Given the bidding war for him, he slides below Colston. He also has injury and age concerns as Colston.

4. Nicks is last. I love me some Nicks, but he's going to generate a huge salary for a position we aren't in dire need for. I'd love him in addition...but he's going to demand too much loot. If he were a LT, I'd have him right up w/ Mario.

I simply think Mario is the bird in hand. virtually no downside at all...

I think there are so many needs, anyone one they sign will help alot. The problem is if you sign Williams, you have no money for anyone else. I also think you need help in the OL and a couple of WRs, so between the draft and Fagency you hope they add some good players. V Jack will be over paid, but I think he is a between 6 and 12th as far as ranking him. I have backed off from him and then we should chase Colston for 2 to 4 mil less and gives a chance to sign another quality guy.

1. Williams. Teams up with Peppers to make the Bears one of the best defenses in the NFL. Automatically upgrades the secondary and DTs.

2. Nicks. Same as Williams for the offense. He'd make the players around him better, open better holes for Forte, allow Cutler more time to throw, and the WRs more time to run around and get open.

3. Colston. Cheaper than VJax, maybe a little worse. Big upgrade over current WRs. Gives Cutler more room for error.

4. VJax. More expensive than Colston, maybe a little better. Big upgrade over current WRs. Gives Cutler more room for error.
