1. Hiring Emery after canning Angelo

---The latter led to the former, and it opened things up for #2.

2. Trading for Marshall

---They got their franchise player his favorite player.

3. Firing Martz

---They got rid of their franchise player's least favorite person in the organization.

Honorable mention: Signing Michael Bush

---This might be even bigger if Forte comes to camp late and starts the season slowly, or if he doesn't come at all.

1) Firing Angelo

2) Firing Martz

3) Trading for Marshall

4) Signing Jason Campbell Our season won't be over the minute Cutler gets injured. We've never had this kind of depth at QB and at best we've usually had a player like Campbell as our starter.

With just one offseason and the fact he hadn't really put his organization together it is too soon for me to say hiring Emery is one of the top 4 moves but items 3 and 4 point to a good start. Emery has expanded our scouting department and is changing the scouting process so it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the next couple off-seasons.

Absolutley agree, as seems to be a lot of others on here.
