Why only use Bush on 1 carry

Featured Replies

Looking at the game I only can only remember Bush in on 1 snap a 6 yard run with power. Lovie didn't mention Bush in the injury report today and Allen was in on at least 2 snaps.

He mentioned him once today. One of the reporters asked him if he was hurt. Lovie said he took a hit. If I remember right, it was like he could have played if needed, but there was no reason to risk it.

Bush was limited all last week in practice with bruised ribs. He probably reaggravated them on his lone carry. He played only 2 snaps.

In watching the game, he looked as if he was hurting right after the run. Immediately aftewards he went to the sideline and was wincing quite a bit. Must've been enough for him not to return.

and why the FUGG was Armando Allen in the game

Forte can't run every time. If Bush is hurt, Allen is their only other RB. Have you looked at their roster?

Apparently the Bears believe Rodriguez is a backfield player, so why not line him up in front of Bush? Or, hell, switch'em! Gotta be better than using Armando Allen.

That requires "outside of the box" thinking...something our current coaching staff completely lacks...
