March 13, 201412 yr comment_132438 That's who I suspect... I love you're taking on more takers! Or maybe Briggs? He's been known to be "vocal". On this overvalue comment in regards to Lovie... Would you like in on this friendly wager I have with Mad Lith? Lol! Report
March 13, 201412 yr comment_132440 I'll have to find the exacts! I'm right there with you on the "weird" feeling. I commented on that very thing yesterday and it does feel very disconcerting. The wager was between MadLith and I that in 10 years (?) either Lovie (me) or Trestman (Mad) would have a better record (or something like that). And the loser would pay $50 towards the Walter Payton Cancer Society. I feel pretty confident. Report

March 13, 201412 yr comment_132442 Although I think the sentence "(If he gets canned before the 10 years are up," is wrong. It's before the 9 years are up... But I'm fine with keeping it at ten. It won't matter. He'll be long gone by then... http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?...rt=#entry130917 *************************** Here's the wager... Over a 9 year period in Tampa (same as he has in Chicago), I say he goes to the playoffs less than 4 times (same as in Chicago) and will not win a Super Bowl (same as in Chicago). (If he gets canned in Tampa before the 10 years are up, then I win unless he makes the playoffs more than 3 times and wins a Super Bowl) But, let's make it interesting. Loser donates $50 to the Walter Payton Cancer Fund. So, everyone wins. http://www.payton34.com/ In? ************* for fact checking http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovie_Smith Report
March 13, 201412 yr comment_132443 But I'm persistent! Thankfully there's a search feature on the interwebs to counter-balance my shoddy memory! See I told you I wouldn't remember come 10 years from now ... Let alone a month later. Report

March 13, 201412 yr comment_132445 2 sentences was a little tough for me... I just switched to Sanka, have a heart...(obscure reference #531) Now you see why I was confused? (10 vs 9) Man we're a mess... Report
March 13, 201412 yr comment_132447 2 sentences was a little tough for me... I just switched to Sanka, have a heart...(obscure reference #531) I am in, I will take that bet! I am on the Trestman side, with all due respect, I don't hate Lovie, just am hopeful Trestman will do the job better overall! Not to mention, no JA to screw things up anymore, haha. Report

Not to mention, no JA to screw things up anymore, haha. Does that mean I have to pay $100 if I "lose" ( which I won't)? The way I look at it it's a win/ win. Since I like Lovie he could do well and I'd be happy for him, at the expense of the bears. Or he could lose and the Bears will do well. But in the end a good cause (Walter Payton's foundation) gets a boost. It's all good. How does the British pound translate to the American dollar? Probably better exchange rate. Or do you guys use the Euro? Report

I think that is what it could mean, but it is up to you Alaskan....could make a case that you should only have to pay $50 really, and if Mad and I lose (which we won't) we each pay $50. Pound is about 1.5 dollars at the moment, but on Paypal you can pay in any currency and it automatically converts, so no worries there. The UK is, I believe, the only full member of the EU who refused to replace their own monetary system with the Euro, which I am grateful for to be honest with the mess that Europe is in with money etc....
