I commented on that very thing yesterday and it does feel very disconcerting. The wager was between MadLith and I that in 10 years (?) either Lovie (me) or Trestman (Mad) would have a better record (or something like that). The UK is, I believe, the only full member of the EU who refused to replace their own monetary system with the Euro, which I am grateful for to be honest with the mess that Europe is in with money etc....
