no doubt the roster they are building is full of actual football players. its kind of incredible how bad weve been at this for so long, now that we see what doing it right looks like.

yeah and he has the 8th highest RAS score for any TE drafted since the 1990s or something like that. Pretty good for an inline guy. I do think the writing is on the wall for Kmet, maybe not this year, but when we identified Kmet, DJ Moore and Swift as trade or cut bait at this time last year, it i slowly coming true. The bar has been lifted. ALl of those players are GOOD players, but not as good as they need to be, and over the years Johnson is going to build a hell of a roster - that much is clear now. We still need a LT and a DE tho LOL

Watching the video, I was surprised by the highlights for TE Roush. All the hype was that he was the best blocking TE in this year's draft class. What I saw was a big target with good hands. Great pickup for 3 TE Sets, valuable backup for Kmet & Loveland, and a (reported) strong blocker for pass pro and run plays. I feel a lot better about this pick by RP/BJ after watching the video.

Seeing the potential with this class. Hope they all turn out to be great. When a team has grown as much as the Bears, they can narrow their search for the types of players the need/want. Next draft they will need to repeat nailing 5 positions and then the rest getting next man up at OL, TE/WR. I have 2 DT, 1 DE, 1 RB, 1 S

He was definitely over 340. Big Ted was pushing 400.- More Videos
I couldn't load it, but if you have Instagram, look up the Bears tax. It's a crazy stat...- Camp Notes
I have heard several times where BJ wants players that love football, high motors and are violent. The UDFA TE, Hayden Large, got a personal call from him before the draft telling him we were interested in getting him. After picking Roush, he thought he may not sign here, but after calling him, he said this is the only place he wanted to be. BJ was pretty excited about that. Probably just a PS member but TEs get injured a lot.- Camp Notes
I doubt KT ever weighted 340 while with the Bears, I heard said that both him and Washington were in the 370 range.- NFC North Offseasons
This again is going to be a tough division but having BJ and Celeb gives us the edge. Look at what the other teams added in the draft, all were more defensive draft picks over offense. I see the Viking having more of a bum than Lions and Packers.- More Videos

LSU motioned him a lot, I see Ben moving him as much or more. I'm excited to see year 2 of the BJ era.- Yesterday

Yeah, Vikes are looking tough. They won 9 with crap at QB last year. As you said, Jennings is a keeper. Now we have to hope QB Murray sucks because if he turns the page, the Vikes will be tough competition for the NFCN title.- NFC North Offseasons
Jauan Jennings is (unfortunately) a nice pick up for the Vikings. I was thinking he might be an option for WR3 in Chicago if they skipped WR in the draft.- More Videos
I see him getting more reps than expected as a 4.28 running the ball.- NFC North Offseasons
This is bad news for the Bears. He helped us a lot last year.- NFC North Offseasons
Bummer I really enjoyed the way he kicked in Soldier Field. Pro Football RumorsPackers To Release K Brandon McManusBrandon McManus' time with the Packers is coming to an end. More at Pro Football Rumors.- More Videos
I watched that last night. I can only say he runs the ball with better vision and more toughness than I expected. Ben Johnson has his RB for 3rd and long situations.- Camp Notes
Rookie jersey numbers are in, including 54 for Logan Jones (“Bold move, Cotton . . .”). That will take some getting used to. Also, Elliott, Thomas, Muhammad, and Van den Berg signed their rookie contracts.- NFC North Offseasons
Contract years are quite an incentive, giving a guy a chance to earn a few million extra on his next deal. My money is on Braxton as our starter but then may want too much to resign 2027. I also suspect, if for no other reason, Dexter is going to have a 10+ sack season as a IDL. ;-)- Camp Notes
This brought back a flash of one of my favorite Bear memories of the past. Remembering Keith Traylor (DL 340? Pounds) returning an interception down the sideline. He ran it back quite a distance, well over 50 yards (can't recall exact length or if he scored) I remember creating an image with Acrobat of him with a turtle running beside him to protect him from being tackled- Camp Notes
We signed a new kickoff return player. He's not real fast but hard to bring down. - Camp Notes
