That sounds right. There is no way Burden is so far back, and i think Trapilo is ahead of Jones, but thats just a gut feeling.

Im not sure until we see preseason games they actually will hear who is the leading canadate to start at LT, they are dividing the first team reps. With Kiran hurt, Im sure it takes him out of that competition.
-
One of the beat writers said that the rookies were intentional listed out of starters roles to create position competion. Loveland was the only listed starter because Kmet was hurt. I seen a CHGO post that said Cole's injury was not serious and avoided a long term injury. Has anyone seen anything about that?
-
I don't think deception is in play. I believe Braxton is winning the job. Would make for a great trade in season if Trapillo develops.
-
certainly a possibility. I also think the depth chart today isn't real. I heard somewhere (was it on CHGO?) that the coaches may not even have participated in it. Whatever the case, it will change over the next few weeks for sure.

If there is any thought toward trading Braxton before the start of the season we will need to showcase him in the preseason. Keeping him listed as the starter helps even if everyone sees through the deception. Poles can still say he is healthy and our starter but he’s working his way back to full strength.
-
His QB is getting no practice with him. Our Defense mixes up coverages. We also press a lot to take away early timing on routes. It won’t be easy for McCarthy on a road game.
-
Here is on there, all the way to the right, 7th Safety right now.

Switch your VPN to Mexico because apparently Mexicans are allowed to watch anything on Youtube without the usual copyright restrictions. If that fails search for Inside Training Camp Live and Caleb

The Bears left out Tysheem Johnson FS Oregon. He should be a stud, makes men wonder if they are trying to hide him and stash him on ps to start.
-
Jordan Addison is suspended for the first 3 weeks of the season. So the Bears will get the Vikings in Week 1 without their WR2, which is a pretty big deal because their next best WR is Nailor, which will scare nobody. Jefferson is also currently hurt with a hamstring injury, but has a month to heal. Stop the run and shade to Jefferson's side should make for a very winnable game for the Bears in Week 1.
-
I don't think so because he was signed so late. I believe the free agency period before the draft are the only signings that count towards the formula.
-
The one I posted was from the Bears. I don't know where Ourlads gets theirs from.
-
Work travel, limited access to internet while on site. I am back now until early September.
-
I dont know if its just me, but I havent seen you around for awhile, is everything ok?
-
I dont think that list has been updated, is there a date on it? Here is a 8/5/2025 depth chart from Ourlads. It has Jones at 1 but I dont think this changes until we get thru the preseason. With Kmet getting hurt it now lists Loveland at 1. https://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/CHI

With Keenan Allen signing a 8.3 mil contract with the Chargers do we get a comp pick for that ? Does anyone know?
-
Totally understand that.

That didnt open but I think I already saw it. The best interview I ever saw Caleb give. I think it was Marquee sports that did the interview. Its called The Chicago Football Show. I went to their channel and couldnt find it. If its a different one let me know so I can watch it.

Might mean nothing, but here are some interesting developments: 1. Loveland and Kmet both as "starters" 2. Jones over Trapilo at starting LT 3. Monangai as RB6, Homer still RB3 4. Duvernay as WR4, Burden WR5 5. Bagent as QB2, Keenum QB3 6. 3x DTs listed as starters (Jarret, Dexter, Billings) 7. Sewell over Hyppolite at LB 8. Stevenson as CB2 over Smith and Wright

I wouldnt want to try to predict when this offense will be rolling, but it seems that if they keep making progress, they have everything to get it rolling, and thatrs gonna be really fun. It seems very likely that given enough time, these guys are gonna be dangerous. Hopefully early, but either way, eventually.

Sorry, the blood rushed to the wrong head with Stacey Dale's being in the interview. Couldn't take it...🤯❤️🥰

This was not the type of practice they should do all the time - but you also have to practice with real intensity and balance and I love the tone they are trying to set. And Biggs said since lovie all of the other major bear outlets said most physical and intense they had ever seen. Any way you slice it - this is a very different coaching staff and tone that is being taken. It also sounds like it was a pretty damn good practice with flash plays by offense and defense!
-
This is a great interview with Caleb. You can get a sense of what is to come and just how complicated this offense is. Given all that, how far Caleb and the offense has already come in just two weeks is impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOnSKU1UHtU

I think Dennis Allen served a wake up call to the offense in front of the family crowd and embarassed and challenged them. This physical practice is probably the result of that - and it's good to see people getting dialed in. They will have to do a bunch more gut checks accompanied by a step up in intensity like this until they are ready to dominate other NFL teams. In the past I think we've tried to hang with NFL teams. It requires another level of intensity to dominate a pro team. When they're at the level that they see each week as an actual fight and nothing less than a beat down is OK, THEN this team will be a real contender. Another step forward. Keep stacking them.
