That arm length is a rumor that someone put out there. I researched it to death a couple of months ago and couldn't find anything reputable. Most say he's in the 33 to 34 range.
-
C'mon Skip! You can literally see downtown Chicago from the proposed site. Indiana is awesome...
-
This one has good rankings compared to the other ones I have used. PFN has free trades in the process. I can't find where you can do on here.
-
Pro Football Network updates player rankings regularly. That's the one I prefer.
-
Illinois is notorious of screwing things up. I prefer they stay but where the bears play, I will follow. Alaska would be fine too. Talk to the govner AG.
-
Those would be good choices but after the Combine rankings will be changed. I do think one of the first 3 picks will be a LT. BJ values the OL , clearly it will come down to can Theo do the job at a higher level. No free agents out there worth what they will be paid, so probably a high pick.
-
Have to check it out bc draftbuzz seems to take the position you want out of the picture. Every time all the DEs are gone, but then Averell Reese Edge/LB or RB Love is there at 25. Their algorithm seems off.
-
He has 36 1/8 inch arms. Arm length isn't his problem. It's learning fundamentals for a pro LT.
-
I don't disagree with you. Players like Demarco Jackson has been in the league since 2022 and played well this year. I think some players take longer to develop. Kiran is the perfect trait LT but injuries has hampered his career. If he can stay healthy, we get to see if he has anything to offer.

I found a new draft simulator. I dunno if its good or realistic, but Ive enjoyed playing around with it. Of course, without Free Agency it can only mean so much. But I keep drafting 1 DT Kayden McDonald Ohio State 2 Edge Zion Young Missouri 3 ILB Jacob Rodriguez Texas Tech I havent done any homework, so I might love or hate these guys in a couple months LOL Anyway, heres the site: https://sticktothemodel.com/draft/simulator

I havent done any work yet, so I have no idea, but that does sound good.
-
Id be happy with Ozzys teammate who is a rd 2-3 prospect. He played LT at BC, while Ozzy played RT.
-
ugh. at that point, and figuring it takes a few games to get back to form, he'd have missed most of the season. Maybe that mid tier Free Agent is looking more possible. I sure hope Poles finds a way to clear a bunch of cap space and rebuild the defense while also making sure the LT position is good. It's just, we're not gonna find a sure fire ready to play on day one long term answer at pick 25, and we need the pick for something else anyway. It's gonna have to be Benedet and/or a free agent I guess.
-
My guess, week 13. BJ said only be a late return.
-
interesting. thats good news then. another offseason with Roushar should help a lot. I wonder when Ozzie will be fully ready. Week 5? Week 8? Any ideas?

Not a fan at all of moving let alone ending up in Indiana. Have to re-evaluate my fandom if they move out of Chicago? It’s so weird.
-
From the breakdowns I watched his issue is not strength it’s technique. He has quick feet but he’s not good at keeping them on the ground. You can find still photos of him blocking where he literally has both feet up in the air at the same time Yes that means he often hops or takes little jumps left or right when he gets caught out of position. If he works on that this off-season he could be good. I don’t think he has the arm length to be great. Of course that also might be why he feels he’s losing the edge and tries to move fast to get back in front.
-
if there were no other concerns, Id LOVE to take a LT high. But we're probably talking about a 3rd rounder at best in the draft, and they probably arent going to be better than Benedet. I can see us signing a mid tier free agent maybe, but that costs cap space too. And if we do add another LT by any of these means, I think that means Amagadje is gone. I'll bet the plan is Benedet until Ozzie is ready, with Amagadje, a mid tier free agent, and/or a 3rd round or lower pick competing with him in camp. And Benedet probably wins that, depending on who the free agent is. I thin Benedet did OK this year, and if he can put on some muscle in his base, he should be even better?
-
I would love him to improve enough to hold the spot down but I still think they add a assert to compete for the starter spot. The big question is does Kiran have anything going into his 3 Rd year? Stranger things have happened.

hopefully he can put on some lower body strength in the offseason and handle the bull rushes next year. he had a good season for coming in out of nowhere.
-
And it's not just DJ, the whole WR group has to make more catches.
-
I agree with this analysis. Except for the miscommunication being that he didnt expect the ball. I think the miscommunication was he blew the adjustment. But I agree that DJ quit because he didnt think the ball was coming to him. But he needed to undercut the safety. And he made that same mistake multiple times. I dunno if he has trouble keeping his head in the game or what? I also dont know whether Johnson wants to keep him (at a lower price) or move on from him. I can see both outcomes making sense. DJ has tons of talent, but he seems to be making too many mental mistakes, and not giving everything on every snap.
-
what I discuss here isnt up to you. Why would you think it was? THis is SO weird. OK Braxton. I think it's pretty clear who is misbehaving and who isnt. Oversensitive? Not me dude. Youre the one freaking out. I am not here to fight. I hate this. TRY to behave yourselves.

For the record I love the posts with sponsors! The best. I’m with Mongo on this being a dead issue but not in agreement to who may have been in the wrong. That being said, since we’re here… Adam sorta said something similar to what I was thinking shortly after the game. It appears there was in fact a miscommunication but we don’t know about what it was. Regardlesss… I can’t help but heap praise on DJ for making all the other clutch catches he made throughout the season not to mention that incredible OT catch that helped the team beat GB (below). In my mind all those ‘ball out’ efforts offset any one play where he may have lagged a little…if he did at all. If he did, I’m sure Johnson and he will discuss at great length before next season begins. He has done some great things no doubt. He even commented earlier this week on how excited he is to come back next year. I hope that means something positive and he is part of the team again. I think he deserves it.

In Bears news, Theo Benedet signed a 1 year extension. At least the Bears have one guy to help hold the LT spot. 1 yr at 1 million.
