  1. Past hour

  2. Hopefully this is an early season wake up call. Defense can still improve but looked better. I have no idea what happened to the offense, and I don't understand where all the easy quick passes were to beat the blitz. Those are typically to the TEs. Very frustrating so far, especially considering how good they looked against CAR. CAR held ATL to 3 pts this week. CLE beat TB and NO beat BAL, so anything can happen in the first month of the season.
  3. That's a relief, I feared it was the achilles. As for Ben Johnson, he can be good or bad and today was bad. They were not ready for what Flores had.
  4. Hamstring injury for Williams, thank god.
  5. Loveland has 1 reception for 3 yards on the season. He had more targets and receptions last year as a rookie coming off injury and not knowing the offense. He was supposed to be the next Bowers/McBride. His lack of involvement in the passing game has been a disappointment. A week after Swift has an amazing game he fumbles on the 1-yard line. That was the difference in the game. The Bears win 10-9 with that TD. Such a terrible loss in so many ways, Williams hurt, Swift fumble, Santos blocked FG, ass play calling. At least the defense stepped up, but how can the Bears never play a complete game?
  6. Bagent is a solid backup but with limited arm strength. Teams will stack the box and do exactly what Flores did today. Without Williams they will be lucky to win 5 games.
  7. BJ was ass today. Time for an ego check. Leaving Loveland in to block, on the last play, was stupid.
  8. Agree on the potential injury. Big time disagree on the lost season. BJ is supposed to be the next best thing and I suspect heโ€™ll adapt his offense accordingly. Shoulda been ALOT more running in this game. Last year after an 0-2 start, Johnson adapted to a lot more zone rushing to pull more outta Swift and Monangai. Then about 4-5 weeks into the season remembered they drafted Loveland in the first round and started using him. WAY too early to call it a lost season.
  9. I'll wait until I hear it for certain, but if I had to bet, I'd bet it's his Achilles. freak.
  10. Today

  11. The season may have just crashed. I hope it is minor but by the reaction, id say not
  12. Season over, fu%k. Non-contact injury, probably an Achilles, can we not have nice things?
  13. Terrible playing calling, no one making plays. Swift fumbles at goalline, refs only calling penalties on the Bears. Wild how much they have to overcome and they are only down by 3.
  14. As much as I am not happy about the defense we have, they have played decent so far.
  15. Ben Johnson is calling his worst game as a Bear.
  16. Ugh, fumble at the goal line. Vikings came in a little hungrier. Bears better start going with the division on the line.
  17. I suspected todayโ€™s game would be similar to how things went for GB last week against Minny. However I didnโ€™t think the Bears would already have 53 yards in penalties (30 by Bradbury alone?) and -1 on the TO ratio. Thankfully the Bears have been a second half team even after last week against Carolina. Still, probably not going to see more than 30 pts from themโ€ฆ
  18. Ball wasn't slick on Bush. It hit his shoulder pad before his hands.
  19. With a high snap on Wentz and through his hands as evidence. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
  20. Devin Bush should have made that pick/int. You can tell the ball is slick with the rain. Like seeing BJ using the run game and if we could stop holding, we would be looking better.
  21. And JJ with really no effort on a near TD. Thankfully the rook was there to bail him out.
  22. Stevenson is terrible. Should have been a pick...
  23. Indoor vs outdoor team here. And most everyone who started out injured on Monday had full participation on Friday, including Trapilo.
  24. BearFan PHX replied to AZ54's topic in Bearstalk
I knew that he couldnt practice with the team yet, but he could still work out with Bears trainers.
  25. Windy and rainy. Looks like a bad weather game. It may not make a difference but that should favor the home team and the better rushing team, both in the Bears' favor.
  26. This week will be a big test. He has struggled against Flores defenses in his career. I want to see him throw into the blitz and make Flores pay for all of the exotic. Take the easy wins Caleb and the big plays will come in this game.
