Ben Johnson seems to be very high on Darnell Wright. With Ozzy looking decent I could definitely see them ramping up LT reps for Theo.
-
He had a few pretty big drops - then some decent plays take away by penalty. He was pressured like crazy by Crosby in first half - but I thought as game went on he did a real nice job moving the pocket and moving the chains. A number of throws where he reset the pocket and then hit a 3rd or 4th read. Crosby was a straight up wrecking ball - quite frankly Caleb throws for a lot more yards if not for the short field the D gave him - but the offense did nothing to tale advantage of the short field - the offense calls and execution just seemed off - too many 3rd and long from penalties and non existent rushing attack.

This - just think about first half where they twice had like 4th and 25 from like the 35. They had failed inside red zone a few times today with all the mistakes and or drops. Get the points and go from there! Also - 2nd straight week where Stevenson played great. Huge! Trapillo seemed to stabilize the offense when he came in. Really wonder if we see them try Wright on the left side at this point. -
Don’t agree on this one. You don’t dick around when you can score a TD, because TDs aren’t guaranteed.
-
Concur. He has been very good. Which is why the first round TE didn’t make sense. Everyone can have an off game, especially with how schizophrenic the offense appeared to be today.
-
Did Caleb look like shit as his stats indicate, or was the OL terrible? I didn’t watch any of the game but I thought he’d put up big stats today.

Swift is a third down type of back, he's not a pounder. Better blocking would help.
-
. He hasnt started out great but with a Loveland injury, you dont get rid of a depth player. The last two yrs he had the best catch percentage with TEs in the league. Not the time to get rid of players that have a good history of play.

It would have been impossible to burn the clock out. You got to score. I’m actually think it worked out well as bears still would have had 38 seconds and 2 timeouts had the kick gone in - which to me would have been a much better place to be in then if the Bears gave the raiders 1 minute to go and no timeouts. -
Given his usual consistent hands I’ll give him a pass - but the penalties were too much. I expect BJ will be tough on him during the break. But in general the dude pretty much catches everything that hits his hands during his career - something was just off today.
-
Can we trade for a RB before the next game? I'll take Devon Achane if MIA looks to blow things up in the near future. They have to do something at that position. This group isn't going to work.
-
Things worked out - nice to win an ugly one going into bye. Lots to clean up but also seeing lots of progress. Should also be quite a bit healthier following the bye week
-
Look at Drake Maye's schedule. God would I kill for Caleb to have that. Almost entirely full of bad teams/and or teams with awful defenses.
-
Williams on pace for 3,940 Passing Yards, 34 TD, and 9 INT with 467 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs. 3,838 Yards and 29 TD is the record (in 16 games). Caleb needs to average 224 Passing Yards and 1.7 Passing TD for the remainder of the season to break both records. I honestly think he will hit both before Week 16.
-
On pace for 85-1258 and 21 TDs. That would be the 6th most receiving yards in franchise history, and the franchise record for TD receptions is 13 (last achieved by Dick Gordon in 1974 lol), so he would blow that out of the water by 8. I am sure his TDs will slow down, but he has 13 games left to get 9 TDs (to hit 14 for the record).

3-2 in 2025, should be 3-1 this year, that Week 1 loss to McCarthy still stings. Still feels great to get a win and go into the bye at 2-2.
-
The early line has the Bears as +4.5 Dogs coming out of the bye. I think the line will shift as we get closer and determine the health of Daniels and McLaurin. Washington plays in LA at 3:25pm on Sunday, so they have to travel back home, but get an extra day of rest for MNF. So they very well could be 2-3 heading into the matchup with the Bears. The Commanders' offense is still putting up points, even with Mariota at QB. They scored 27 and lost to ATL, yet Mariota only threw for 156 yards. They had 147 rushing yards, which is what kept them in the game. The Bears need to shore up the run defense, especially if Daniels is back. Too early for predictions. Will do that after next Sunday.

Same defense Caleb will face out of the bye. Maye had a low volume game (17 attempts), and his season QBR slide past Williams.

Glad you got to witness that nail biter. I wish the team was as relentless as the fans and would actually make GB suck. No matter what team the Bears have, the Waldron deck tunnel echos GB sucks. -
What a great win to watch in person, glad you got to see it.

Bears win! What a great environment. Bears fans showed up in a huge way. It was what sports is all about. I must have high fived and fist bumped 500 people of all races and sexual orientation. Chicago fans exemplified how to represent their team. I guarantee y'all will hear it from the team in their pressers. The chanting of Green Bay sucks as we walked to the strip was amazing! I'm exhausted. Bear freaking down boys! Let's get healthy now...

9 targets, 3 receptions, 3 drops, and 2 false starts. Ugly game.
