  2. What if there isn't any D penetrators worth the value of the pick? That's all im saying. Like the LTs were gone, so TE it was. We get sucked into our major needs, like LT last year, and take a #2 TE who most draft experts had behind Warren. Among our board, TE wasn't mentioned much or at all. That is why I would not bet. I have DT/DE as my target when doing mocks. Read the profiles over and over. The algorithm always has the edges gone but boat loads of QBs.
  3. Attention to details!

  5. Caleb trolling Lions fans with gifts to his O-Linemen, this man is on another level right now. So some dude posted a picture about cracking open a bottle when Ben Johnson gets fired from the Bears (because so many fans were so butthurt when he left), and Caleb bought his protectors the same bottle lol.
  6. This is SF's biggest net rest difference this season, -2 days. They have to somehow figure out how to handle Xmas too, so it will be interesting to see how they look. The Bears went right to work a day early but like a normal week so they could give the players Xmas off, then normal travel to SF. So they get Christmas off and an extra day of rest to prepare. If SF also takes Xmas off, half of their practices will be walkthroughs this week as they just got back from IND this morning. The Bears need to take advantage of this early and often on SNF.

Nash on still has things to improve in his game. Early on he was all over the place getting beat, missing tackles. The version we have in the last month has been much better. I’d like to see him stick around because I like his potential.

Made a small trade back from 29 to 33. Picked up 101 in exchange.

  11. All we need is a little patience.
  12. They are all playoff games now.

Dalman, Thuney, and Byard make the cut, they are the Bears 2026 Pro Bowlers. I feel like Nahshon Wright is probably the biggest snub for the team.
  14. Darnold 1 year deal was very different than Cousins 4 year merge deal. Darnold was signed as a bridge and JJ got hurt and Sam played his butt off…no one expected that, but Sam struggled late which made the whole thing really difficult. JJ is getting written off too fast. Injuries are the question with him and he was healthy in college. But he has made a lot of progress last few weeks.
  15. I could really see the game ending either similarly to the Lions game or Bengals game. The team that has to punt first loses. At the very least, you have to be able to hold SF to FG's while you score touchdowns. Time of possession, redzone offense/defense are the keys to victory.
  16. Possibly, but Cousins signed a 4-yr deal a month before they drafted Penix. Darnold also signed a one-year deal with Minnesota before they drafted McCarthy. The timing just seemed off on both of those deals. Then Minnesota doubled down on bad after McCarthy got hurt, Darnold led them to a 14-3 season, with 35 TD to 12 INT, over 4,300 yards, and instead of righting the wrong, they let him walk and roll with McCarthy. Darnold repeated his play with SEA, now 12-3 while MIN is 7-8 in last place and McCarthy is injured for the 4th time.
  17. Early on there were a lot of concerns about the Bears picking Loveland over Warren (or a DT, Edge, or OT). Warren came out of the gate on fire and was really looking like one of the best TEs in the league while Loveland was still recovering from surgery and getting limited playing time. Right now Warren's raw stats look better, but those are essentially padded by playing time. Warren has 200 more offensive snaps than Loveland and 41 more targets. However, since November, Loveland has been one of the best TEs in the league. In that span, he beats Warren in every category. Warren has been pretty bad the last few weeks, with only 8 catches on 21 targets, for a total of 64 yards. Loveland had 4-63 against CLE alone. This has actually turned out to be one of the better TE classes with Warren, Loveland, Fannin, and Gadsden all with over 500 yards receiving as rookies.
  18. SF jumped up with that win. Now it is #5 CHI vs #8 SF. A Bears win and they would move into the top 3, an SF win, and they would move into the top 5. Huge game.
  19. To be fair, 22 of Purdy's 34 attempts were to McCaffrey, Kittle, and Jennings. Of the 62 offensive plays that weren't kneel downs, McCaffrey was targeted or carried the ball 29 times, almost 50% of the offense. Purdy had 2 carries for 11 yards, so it was not like he was scrambling either. The Bears need to do whatever it takes to take McCaffrey out of the game. Force someone else to beat you.
  20. If you need any more evidence about Caleb Williams, check out Jahdae Walker's presser from yesterday. Walker stated Caleb called him after a home game earlier this season and asked him to meet him at the indoor facility, where they proceeded to practice and run routes for 3-4 hours, after a game, Caleb is calling up a UDFA rookie to get him extra reps and work on whatever he needed to work on. How crazy is that? Then in Week 16, this dude is called upon to make a game-tying TD on 4th Down. Impressive.
  21. The fact that Purdy threw five TDs to McCaffrey, a hobbled Kittle, and three dudes I couldn’t pick out of a lineup is very worrisome. If the DL doesn’t get pressure, this could be a difficult game.
  22. Have to contain McCaffrey. Kittle didn't finish the game, left with an ankle injury.
