  3. Green Bay plays Baltimore next week (with Love?), which is certainly not an easy task, and then travels to Minnesota for the final week. The GBP vs MIN rivalry is strong, and you never know what will happen in divisional matchups. Hell, it's possible GB tanks the remainder of the season.
  4. Yeah, it really seems like it is going to be GB @ CHI in 3 weeks. Have two teams met 3 times in 6 weeks before?
  5. I’d still like to see more progression before I’m fully bought in. As Mongo mentioned in another thread, I agree that he needs to play more consistently from start to finish. If he’s always relying on late-game heroics, it’s only a matter of time before opposing defenses figure out how to shut that down. If, after another season (or maybe two), he’s making even better decisions, then I’m a buyer. To be fair, he has shown significant improvement this year. I just hope he avoids a CJ Stroud–type regression next season and instead continues with Bo Nix–level consistency or a Bryce Young–style resurgence moving forward. In the time being I’m enjoying the heck outta this ride.
  6. A lot of factors to consider. SF's defense is nowhere near what they were last year without Warner and Bosa. Bears will also be playing with 2 extra days of rest as SF is playing in IND on MNF. So they have a short week while also traveling home. So they have a really short week with Christmas in the middle.
  7. With more teams calling more plays on 4th down nowadays, especially if they’re anywhere near the 50 yard line, not having a killer leg for distance isn’t as much a necessity. As long as our team can get him within a reasonable range and he stays accurate, he’s almost as good as Gould.
  8. Yeah I wanted OT. Home game you play for OT, especially with them looking like they had momentum. And I honestly don’t know that the D could have stopped the Packers ground game…they were getting cooked.
  9. And the crazy thing is with 2 of these 3 scenarios the Bears will most likely be playing the Pack again.
  10. I was worried about time when they didn't get the FG off before the 2-min warning. I felt that with 2 timeouts and the 2-min warning, they would have a shot. Once they got the onside kick, I knew they would score. Then I was worried about Ben going for 2 and losing. So I am glad he played for OT because the Bears really had the momentum at that time.
  11. I go back to he’s got a ton of warts but is already above average and those warts are absolutely fixable with work and good coaching and I think we have the coaching and he seems to have the work ethic! This is hard as we can get caught up in the quick flash and sizzle but he is just consistently getting better and I think year 3 will be another big step forward. I also think when they get Burden and Rome back we will see a Caleb who is even more ready to work his progressions etc. Jahdae might have a nice future in the slot too here.
  12. Love was averaging 5.9 Yards per attempt and Jacobs 3.0 Yards Per Carry. The only thing that was extending drives were the penalties. Willis and Wilson were way more efficient.
  13. This highlight doesn’t get old…my whole family had given up in 2nd half and I kept telling them this team is different they’ll find a way…but even I didn’t see it quite going like this…from so frustrating to so damn fun…so nice to be on the flip side of this!!!
  14. The defense was getting cooked…gave up a ton of long drives as they really weren’t ready to get into a physical slug fest and when Love went out that is what happened. And our dline just isn’t good.
  15. Knowing PFF is just one tool, this is pretty cool, the TD to Moore was the first "perfect" throw this season:
  16. Jahdae Walker might be a solid find a year from now. Small school to big school and he seems to have some tools.
  17. I thought there was no chance he would hit the 51 yarder. Even the one before with that cross wind…wow.
  18. I see a lot of media blaming the injuries to Love, then Jacobs, but in reality, Willis and Wilson were better. If you compare Willis and Love, you would think Love is the backup. Wilson also had double the yards per carry than Jacobs. Willis played a lot better than I was expecting him to.
  19. He is still not a 60-yard type kicker, but considering a quarter of the season is played in inclement weather, maybe he is better suited for this than I gave him credit for.
  20. Yeah, it's wild to score that consistently and still have yet to play a complete game.
  21. Today
  22. I just realized the Bears could also now clinch a playoff spot with one more Packers loss after last night's victory, and the Packers might have to start Malik Willis against the Ravens next week. Also, opponents are winless the week after losing to the Bears this year. Something to keep in mind
  23. Can we please get 2nd half Caleb in the first half? It seems like he plays on slow burn until he needs to crank it up. Man, he's great with his hair on fire. And how bout Jahdae Walker!
