With no pads, it's damn near impossible to grade the lines & defense since they went through the motions. Here's my thoughts on QB's, WR's, and the TE's: 1. The radio guys talked about the all great catches but the secondary was avoiding contact. If you hear the media say, "He made a dazzling one-handed grab" there was typically a safety boring down on the receiver. In live action there'd have been no catch. Our QB's completed like 50 consecutive passes. 2. DA was constantly targeted by Cutler. He made some nice catches where he had to adjust his body and he'd go up and get it. The Bears Site is saying Bruce will arrive Wednesday and remain in camp for the entire preseason sessions to help the Bears receivers learning the new offense. Good stuff!

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but it seems the team is bringing back the monsters of the midway as a theme this year, making shirts and everything. There is an article in the Trib saying what a joke this is, asking how can a team that doesn't even practice tackling in camp have the audacity to bring out this theme. I'll go one further. I caught a short clip of it on the radio, said he was pissed about pass protection?? Anyone hear more about it? Not a good sign with the Oline being one of the big question marks of this season.

Going down to training camp next week for the first time. We are looking to golf before an afternoon practice. I see a couple golf courses down there. Wondering if anyone has played any or has a recommendations. If this thread is in wrong spot, please move it.

Yesterday I spent my annual trip to Bear's TC on my B-day. I have just a few points to make and I'll keep it short. 1. It was hot as Hell yesterday and I was wondering how these guys could practice in this intense heat for 2 hours. 2. The most intense groups working out at camp are the offensive and defensive lines where the only skirmish of the day occurred and the sound of the pads hitting was the loudest from these groups. 3.
