Who's going to watch that crap fest? I guess I will since it will be the last time to see the Bears play but this team has completely come off the tracks. It is going to be an interesting off season. Peace

I would assume not. I would like to see Forte come in for a couple of plays just to get 1000 yards but I don't see any reason to play either of them other than that. Peace

After watching them this whole season (living in MN...) and seeing the weapons that he has to become the QB that he is, I don't give many props to Aaron Rodgers. Granted, he can throw the ball, and do it nicely with minimizing his mistakes. But when you have 5 WR and 2 TE on your team, that would compete for the 1 & 2 spots on almost ANY team in the league, you had better do a great job with them. Watching them all season, including the game tonight, just showed how often his WR are left wide open in a route and can catch the ball. Constantly they are on perfect timing. If Cutler is not injured, the Bears have already qualified for the playoffs. Clearly, he is the most important part of the offense. No matter how much I like Forte, he is not the center of the offense and can be replaced. The Bears have run the ball very well without him the last 3 games. My point is I would not pay Forte what he is asking for. I would tell him the previous offer is on the table. He can sign that or we will franchise him the next two years. Bottom line, they have to improve the OL and WR core on this team. Someone said in another post that RBs are a dime a dozen. When I watched the game against the Raiders I noted that Roy Williams looked faster than just about every other WR out of breaks in the pregame. And during the game he was open several times and just didn't see the ball. Why that happened is anyone's guess, but I'm 99% sure it's because he wasn't the first read and there wasn't enough time to get to the second read consistently. With Knox out, it appears that Williams is the #1 read and target...and was open. 6 catches for 81 yards could have easily been 7 for close to 100 if one other pass wasn't chucked at his feet.
