Bears | Olsen impressive Thu, 5 Jun 2008 10:26:50 -0700 Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears TE Greg Olsen has been one of the most impressive players during the team's minicamp and offseason workouts. He continues to beat linebackers on pass patterns down the field. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come this upcoming season.

Sounds about right. I don't think he'd have gotten fined at all if it weren't for his opening his mouth earlier in the week talking about it before he did it. Wasn't sure where to stick this, so here we are. The Bears announced they are releasing All Quad in Muhammad. He never produced and Poles left an out. 1/2 mil dead money and we add almost 4 mil to the cap. We are going to see roster moves as Poles evaluates the roster.

I like Marrittoa, would love to get him in the draft. Don't think he would be around when its the Bears turn to draft If Trestman is around they may target a QB in later rounds. I like Byrce Petty from Baylor in the later rounds.

Does Jason Campbell know what our offense's plays are? Every play he looks lost with no anticipation whatsoever for where receivers will be except his favorite....the checkdown.

Nothing like waiting for final roster cuts with a 4th pre season game coming up where no starters will play. So here are some random thoughts on the upcoming season: Eagles defense is bad. Chip Kelly offense not so thrilling to me. There has been a ton of hype but I've watched Oregon's offense for years and every time they played a team that matched up to their athletic ability they struggled. The NFL, save for a few teams, is fairly balanced in terms of athletic ability.
