I know it has been quoted that Holt has said he does not have interest in the Bears and therefore it seems highly unlikely we would land him but who ever thought we would sign Cutler?

Since our #49 pick is essentially our #1 pick, I'm curious to see who the mocksters have us taken. I found one updated mock but it still has us taking Duke Robinson. Not that I would mind seeing us take the Duke, but we've already added 3 good offensive lineman. We have far more pressing needs at WR, safety & DE.

Very intersting. Angelo did say it isn't like the Cutler talks, specifically mentioning that it isn't just the compensation, but the money which is an issue. Pay close attention to this one though, imo.

Hi All, I'll be in the Pontiac, MI area for the Green Bay game... even though it might be meaningless, I need to watch it. I'm certain the Bears can, again, beat the Packers. I think there IS meaning that can be taken from this game. It was a meaningful game to GB, and it was still a day that saw the beloved sitting a bunch of hurt or out players and we still took it to them. What meaning to take? 1. I have been looking for stats on WR dropped passes for 2007. The only link I have is for a site called sports.iwon.com where it gives the top 20 players in each conference. On that listing (use link above to view) it only shows D Clark of CHI in the top 20 with 6 drops (bad news since he does not get as many looks as many others on the list). What would be interesting is a listing of WRs showing drops in relation to looks, or in otherwords, the percentage of drops compared to receptions/catchable passes. How would Moose & Berrian compare to others around the league? I think we would be surprised to find they are no where near the leaders in this area.
