Just a thought here but with all the upbeat chat about Rideau and Aromashodu playing so well it's obvious Rashied Davis has not stood out in camp. Reality is that QBs decide where they are throwing the ball. Of course if the OC doesn't like the reads the QB is taking some risks but right now Cutler isn't worried about his job security. I'm just wondering if Cutler sees the athletic ability and potential of a guy like DA and is he just giving him as many chances as possible to make him successful at the expense of Rashied Davis? With each passing day, I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on w/ Graham. Most recently, we read about Bowman going down in practice. After that happens, two things are seen/heard that stand out. One, McBride is called on to fill in for Graham. Two, when Lovie is asked about Bowman going down, he talks about how we have other players ready to step in, mentioning Moore and McBride, but no mention of Graham. I really do not understand what is going on here. We read early on that Graham is being moved to FS. It finally has come out that Tommie Harris has had his knee scoped in March and he is suffering from some problems with that surgically repaired hamstring. So this is not good news.

Today in the post practice interview Cutler again mentioned Aromashodu as a WR who was played well. Aside from Cutler I haven't heard many others mention him and now Cutler's done it twice this week and today specifically said he needs to get some time in with the 1's. For Cutler to come out and say he needs to get some time with the 1's is a pretty good sign of his progress. All the talk has been about Rideau stepping up this year and that's good. I'd like to hear any feedback on Aromashodu from those who've been to camp or attended today's practice at Soldier Field. Is this guy looking like someone who might make the final roster?

Chicago Bear Devin Hester prepares for break-out season as receiver I had doubts as to what to expect from Hester this year. Logic told me he would improve with a QB like Cutler who could hit him on long routes. However, if you read this article you will possibly agree with me that we may indeed have a legitimate #1 WR in our midst. This is a telling passage from the article:

-Said he would do some things differently in Denver, like talking to Bowlen more in depth. Said he thinks Denver would also do a lot differently. -Said he knows there's going to be pressure. -Said he's happy for Eli on his new payday and gave a "I'm going to get mine too" laugh. There might be a longer version on the night edition of SC but I'm not sure.

Just a tidbit that doesn't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things, but there was a fight in training camp between Zack Bowman and Earl Bennett. Things are getting a bit testy...and I like it.
