IMHO we have two overpaid corners doing nothing in the passing game. Sure they can get interceptions on tips and ball throw right at them but this bail and run scheme they play is simple not good. I have watched other corner like the Giants Webster and the Packers Woodson play right at the line on the WR and bump and turn and run with them. This causes two things, ! for the timing to be off on quick routes and 2 for the QB to hold the ball longer allowing the pass rush to get there to the QB. We've had mixed feelings about this ball club now sense our Superbowl run 2 years ago. He looked a LOT better tonight. He got some decent blocking and looked to go vertically instead of trying to run around everyone and get tackled for -3 yards. He was aggressive going down the field and looked like the Hester of old. I expect him to break one against Houston, and if I'm the Bears, I put Hester out there returning kicks NEXT to Danieal Manning. Side note...we need to play Soulja Boy again when he is back to return.

from the schedule on nfl website all games are on sunday the 28th including a sunday night matchup with denver and san diego. the den sd game is listed as a monday night game on the picksheet page. is this incorrect and if so we don't fill in the total points section for the sunday night game? thanks

I was watching Total Access Live on NFL Network yesterday and they said the Bengals were between Stacy Andrews and TJH to use their one franchise tag. It turns out Andrews blew out his knee last week or something, and so it seemed like it was obvious to give it to Houshmandzadeh. Well, Adam Schefter says the Bengals WILL NOT use it on Houshmandzadeh but maybe Chad. This means TJ will be able to test the market. Sounds like good news for us. Thoughts?

Damn am I torn on this one. He is my favorite Bear and I would love to see him retire here but it is clear he has lost a step. Further, it is clear Payne is no FS but he did look very good at SS.
