Losing to the 'Aint's in the NFC title game. Heck it has all of the makings of a classic story line about the revival in NO etc, etc. Plus I think with the injuries, there is no way we can contain their offense.

I will say this much, there is one way Rivera could be our next head coach, and that is if a team throws a shitload of money at Smith and he jumps ship. That is the only way Ron Rivera will be the Bears head coach in 2007-2008

Yeah the Bears would be a joke as an organization if they dump their head coach after being 13-3, even if the success was actually all due to Rivera. There are professional standards, and this would be a huge faux paux.

Brian would not lead us anywhere. We might win games because of the defense and special teams, but Griese is an ordinary QB. He is fine for a backup, but not as a Super Bowl type guy.

The defense looked OK, but overall that was a pathetic effort. I hope it was just a momentary lack of focus on a meaningless game, because if the Bears play like that in two weeks, I hope they like golf.
