  1. If Cutler had thrown that ball 1-2 steps further though, it clears the DB and winds up hitting Knox in the hands. Knox had to slow up, which is why the DB had a shot at it.
  2. I think that play was the play where he was about to go down and was jumping to throw the ball over the line to avoid the safety. Worth noting...that play might have just been one where he really noticed it, not necessarily when it happened.
  3. I still haven't seen any highlights of when it could have happened, and I don't think there are any. It jsut happened somewehre in there.
  4. It was actually remarkable to see Carson Palmer once Owens and 85 were out of the way. He came in not having to get the ball to people and dropped 4 TD's on the Chargers in a game the Chargers needed to win.
  5. There's one other worthy question...why, when Collins came in, did they call 3 consecutive passes? At least when Hanie came in, they ran a few times.
  6. Why on Earth would you cut a DB following his rookie season?
  7. In terms of other WR's...there's a reason why Owens, Ochocinco, and Moss won what, 5 games that they played in this season between them, 3 of which were the Patriots with Moss? I'd rather run Omiyale out there at WR than sign Moss.
  8. On one of the first 2 possessions of the game, Cutler took a 5 step drop and was on the ground within a second, the entire left side of his offensive line was blown up by a 3 man rush, and he had 2 Packers and 4 Bears on top of him. That was probably the hardest he went downt hat whole game. I wonder if that wasn't where his knee first popped, and he ran the first half on adrenaline. Kreutz did say his knee was shaking in the 2nd quarter.
  9. Hope that the season doesn't happen?
  10. After 2009, the Bears had 2 obvious needs. They needed help on both lines. They brought in Peppers on the D-Line, and shuffled around a little bit on the O-Line. This year, they've solidified the D, at least on paper. If they spend some money on the O, they have room for it to get significantly better next eyar.
  11. If the Bears don't attempt to upgrade themselves this offseason, then yes, that's the peak. They should be in good cap space whenever a cap is reestablished, and they get a first round pick this year for the first time in 2 years. They "can" be back. Part of the reason why they are relying on veterans who are getting up there is that they gave up their last 2 first rounders for Cutler. They haven't been able to go after anyone who could be a franchise level player in the first rounds.
  12. Urlacher really isnt' good on the sharp move sometimes. He got beaten by their RB on a play like that earlier in the game, you push him off the straight line run and sometimes he just can't adjust.
  13. If the Bears have the money to play the FA market, Vincent Jackson and Logan Mankins fill major holes.
  14. If Cutler's knee was bothering him early in the first half, that would explain why he was so inaccurate on his throws.
  15. I'm kinda glad I don't live in Chicago, I'd expect about 2/3 of the Bears-related talk radio to focus on how Hanie should be the starter if there is a 2011 season.
  16. That's why the slant game is hard to win with...those are hard catches for the WR's to make.
  17. Well, to be fair, one hit on Hanie, and I guess Forte becomes the QB.
  18. Hell, the Bears are still only 1 play away from being right back in this game, only down 14.
  19. Joe Buck says I'm right, Collins and Cutler cannot come back into the game by rule now.
  20. Even if you're wrong on how it went down...this is how the rest of the Chicago fans are going to react to Cutler being taken out. So I think we ought to get used to it.
  21. I don't think you can put in Hanie unless the other 2 QB's are made inactive.
