  1. They absolutely can not let Favre have any time, he will find people if he has allday.
  2. and dont forget, our D is still good for some points in this game.
  3. TDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, Bears awesome passing attack!!! good hit
  4. At least we have other games going on to tide us over until the Bears start. I got the KC / CIN game on, should be entertaining.
  5. It should be 3-0, if it isnt thats a bad start for the season.
  6. Brett Favre will throw at least two picks. Our D is gonna have to win this game for us more then likely. But they definately can and should.
  7. I dont think our secondary is that bad. They do take a lot of chances but that also produces the big plays. The Panthers game was a mishap in coaching for not doubling Smith. Id like to see Harris get some reps at strong safety and Brown at free, with Manning ® spelling at free safety. We also added speed back there if needed with Hester which seemed to be a big problem as well last year.
  8. The Packers will be lucky to get -35
  9. Chicago (0-0) at Green Bay (0-0) Not sure who finishes the game playing quarterback or who's running the ball for the Bears. All I know is Brett Favre is going to get terrorized by Tommy Harris, Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs. Chicago 19, Green Bay 10 I like it!
  10. Robinson: Unlike Jason, I'll try not to bore you with my philosophical musings and just answer the question. "The very nature of the NFL … ." Thank you, Professor Cole. Anyway, I like the Vikings to win the NFC North despite the fact that they've lost a playmaker (Koren Robinson) and a first-round pick (Chad Greenway), and are hanging their hopes on a 38-year-old quarterback (Brad Johnson) and a running back (Chester Taylor) who has yet to prove he can carry the load. For my money, Minnesota has it where it counts – on the offensive and defensive lines, and in a secondary that has a pair of cornerbacks who should be one of the best tandems in the NFC. And after seeing Johnson in person this preseason, I think he's a perfect fit in Brad Childress' scheme. Even second-year wide receiver Troy Williamson looks like he's made some big strides since last season. Another factor in the prediction – Rex Grossman and the Bears' offense hasn't looked much better than what we saw last season. Even the defense seems to be a little flat. I still think the Bears will push for the playoffs, but I like Minnesota to be more consistent on both sides of the ball. Most overrated, Jason Cole But the big winner (is that the right way to put it?) in this category is Chicago. The Bears won the NFC North going away last season and probably will again this year. But barring incredible development by quarterback Rex Grossman (sorry, Brian Griese isn't a real alternative), the Bears are again looking at an early exit from the playoffs. The other problem for the Bears is that their secondary is weak and doesn't get tested in their excessively weak division.
  11. I think Martz is gonna have problems running this offense. He refuses to run and doesnt have the passing weapons. Hell keep their defense on the field the whole time.
  12. He certainly answered the bell last year for the people who called him overrated. GOod to see hes not hung up on numbers.
  13. I just want a reliable receiver/tight end. I cant see why this hasnt been addressed.
  14. I unfortunatley cant foresee them letting go of Gage or Currie for this guy until he proves something, yes, yes I know Currie hasnt proven anything.
  15. Im not opposed to bringing in any new receivers with potential to give them a shot. A change of scenerie can do a lot for a guy.
  16. Id give up a third for him but no higher, thats stretching it as is, the Bears really need a receiver. I think its a lot worse then people think. Our number one cant catch and isnt fast.
