Out of curiosity what do you think the value of Kruetz in a trade? You realize you wont get anything near what he brings to the team. Hes a leader, the team looks up to him and he plays hard. Is that worth whatever second day draft pick youd get for him? Theres no way a team gives up anything better than MAYBE a 4th rounder.

He didnt screw the Falcons. He never accepted the job, it was just reported that they were close to a deal. I wouldnt want to deal with that disaster in Atlanta when you can go to Miami either. With his eye for defensive talent he will more than likely have that defense back to where it was in the late 90s early 00s after a couple of drafts. Knowing Parcells he is more than likely going to be content with Trent Green going into next season as the starter.

I agree. I wanted Williams too and we desperately needed (need) WR help and most draft boards had him listed as the top player in the draft. The only difference if we would have drafted Williams instead of Benson we would have a real running back instead of Benson and would have more than likely cut ties with Williams by now.

You realize its a lot harder to make trades in football then it is in baseball. You cant trade half these guys and even if you did you wouldnt get anything for them.

Exactly. The defense while not perfected put our offense in many positions to win which they couldnt capitalize on. The biggest problem for our defense was our safeties.

I agree in terms of we have nothing to lose so what could it hurt for Kyle to get his shot. I just really wanted to win this game and play spoiler to the Vikes and Orton was garbage. Now, why not. Spoiler isnt even fun, I hate to say it but now Im chasing a draft pick because I want nothing to do with this team winning anything if it prolongs whats going on here.

i was all for the Orton experiment. It just took me less than a half to realize, he simply doesnt have it.

I dont care what he avoided. He couldnt do shit. The only points they got were when the defense got them the ball on the Vikings side of the field. Orton sucks. I was sitting their begging for Griese. Anyone should have one that game for the Bears but Orton couldnt do anything.
