Agree, unless that team wants to give him a lot of money. Supposedly, that team he's visiting is MIN, GB, or DET. I'd bet the Pack, as they have a need at G.
I saw this and found it odd then that Emery would say a UFA OG is now out of the question to Michael Wright. Bushrod and Bennett's cap hits were less than the $7.01m available and then they cut these 3. Maybe he's now focused on his own guys and no more "other team UFA's."
If he's an explosive playmaker, what's Megatron, Fitzgerald, Marshall, A.Johnson, Julio Jones, AJ Green?
The offensive minded Saints and a team with a shakey offense (Miami) both didn't want him.
Because Emery said Webb, Carimi and Scott will battle at RT, yes. Drafting Fluker would mean they would be letting Scott and go and either cutting Webb or Carimi, which I don't see happening.
RT @RapSheet: CB Captain Munnerlyn getting interest from #Browns, #Dolphins, #Bears, #Chargers. Lot of good CB depth out there...
I've seen him play quite a bit. He'd be a decent pick-up.
RT @adamjahns: They’re not signed —at least not yet —but Marc Trestman says he expects Lance Louis and Jonathan Scott to compete for jobs next yr. #Bears
I know Brown is a 4-3 OLB. I was talking to Terra in terms of him stating that Brown can play 4-3 MLB. I don't think he can do that but yes he can easily play 4-3 OLB.
I think what jason is saying is that if Emery really gave a s*** what PFF says, he probably wouldn't have given a guy ranked worse than Webb in their rankings $7m/year to replace Webb. Emery has his own eyes, Trestman's, Kromer's, and all of the scouts' eyes and they likely all believe Bushrod > Webb.
