Orton is on the good side of average. Orton, to me, could honestly be on of the best back-up's of all time... I wish we never had to give him up. But, he wanted to be a starter, and he's just not good enough.

Many players love the fans too... I love McMahon and he could care less about fans. It's aprt of the reason I love him so. He does it for his teammates and to win. Nothing else. I like that attitude. But, that's just me. I'm different.

Do you see Tebow doing it either? Sorry to say, but none of those 3 guys are going to do it for DEN. But, I'd have more faith in Orton getting them to the playoffs than either 2 of the other guys. Their last moron coach, McDaniels, got them in this position, and this current regime has to figure a way out of it. If you are offended by what the guy said, it's your right to be. I, personally, am not. I get what he's saying and why. If I'm DEN's management, I'm not thrilled by the comments. If Cutler went out and said the same thing, I'd have no probelm either. Again, going by what you paraphrased. Cutler isn't there to please me. He's there to win games.

Omiyale is the worst of a fair to bad lot... I think Webb has some upside, and I wouldn't put it past Tice that he could be a legit starter. I have my doubts, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. However, Omiyale I have no hope for. And I pretty much have about zero for Williams.

Not at all. McMahon pretty much said the same thing his entire career. Which is of course why I love him so... His team can fine him, but I really don't care what he says unless it's truly offensive. Base don your paraphrasing, I see absolutely nothing wrong with what he said. Will he lose fnas? Probably. But, he may gain some as well. Cutler is accused of similar as well...

Seriously, it's amazing that we perfromed at the level we did despite all that bumbling... But this year may be costly. Besides what we already know about the poor OL, let's not forgot how many lucky breaks we got not facing #1 QB's and staying healthy. The odds of that repeating itself again this upcoming season is highly unlikely. In fact, one should expect the opposite if everything evens out...

Patience... This is only the set-up to appease JA and the like who want Williams to succeed. Once that's not happeneing, look to see Spencer at C and Garza moved to one of the Guard spots, and WIlliams pushed to a back-up role. Where he actually could be OK at...as a spot player.

Prety much the case I agree... For some reason, the media does not want to chower any love on the Bears. Most of the time, it's warranted...but I think Cutler would have to prefrom at a Joe Montana like level and the team needs to trounce their SB opponent more than the 85 Bears to garnish any real press.

...and if one man could, I know that one man is Hester. I have no probelm spelling him...but he should be back there at least once per game just to make the other team think about it.

Motivation. Takes some of the stress out for the guys like WIlliams...who I think they are mamby-pamby-ing around with. Tice is trying to take the heat away from the guys. I'll seriously be shocked if this group starts in week 1 of the regular season. I think Spencer will be at Center, Williams or Louis gone, and Garza in for one of them.

Agreed...all of the above. Could also be that they fear our OL as much as we do! Simply, anything short of getting deep into the playoffs is a failure for this season.

I'm holding opinion on a lot of this... I'm sure a lot of these types of reports will change with the direction of the wind until the actual start of the regular season. I'm really just looking for abject failure and injuries. I think those 2 areas will be more telling.
