  1. So true! So sickening! f the Packers and their sycophants!
  2. It was a nice sotry about the little girl and Rodger...but last I checked the game was in Chicago, not Green Bay/ Seriously, wasn't there a feel good story the Bears had that could have been showcased? BS Packers fulffery by the media.
  3. Nice list! Man, the Packers are dirty in general. Peppers was freakin' tackled when he injured his knee for a moment. I kept getting visions of the cheap shot agasint McMahon when that happened. My hated for the Packers rec'd enough fuel last night to fill 10 lifetimes worth! I lost it when Hester broke the return! It felt so damn good!
  4. It did sound loud for hester though!
  5. So true! The place erupted after Hester's return! Hell, I erupted at home!
  6. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...da-passes-away/ Hellofa player...
  7. I had a bit of both. I figured they were a carbon copy of the Bears of old. Great D, great RB, shoddy QB and WR's. And given their easy schedule, they'd be a lock. Goes to show you why they play the darn games! Easily them and the Giants are the 2 biggest disappointments so far... Minny really too if it weren't for the Lions medicine they took yesterday.
  8. Exactly... They are a train wreck right now. It's surprised me. I thought they would be a lock for their division.
  9. Yeah, I've been hearing the same. I have a few freinds that are big SF fans, and they are hearing he's losing the team. This firing may help them. I think we may be seeing something in terms of a guy that's a better coordinator/assistant than HC... We'll see.
  10. Connor, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? It's part of Bears lore.

  13. I like Da Bears. But it'll be tough. Bears 45, Packers 14 with late scores after dey sit Url and Pep.

  15. ...and let's not forget Butkus and Buffone. I can't recall a 3rd in the mix, but that was a while back.
  16. It would appear to be the case. I still think a feeler should have been put out... Could we have shipped Tommie Harris and a 3rd?
  17. I didn't! Grizz did! I was more willing to compare to Url/Colvin/Holdman!
  18. A friend of mine listening to the radio in LA, heard some mention of a Favre news conference today in an hour. I'm trying to see if it's BS, or moreso something about the potential Vincent jackson trade to MIN. I'm scouring for more info... After talking more w/ my friend, I think it's probably just his weekly news conference and nothing more. I'm sure it'd be all over the internet if it were something more.
  19. Dang...I guess that last GB game left such a potent sour taste...
  20. So far, the process seems to be working! I liked what I saw, and just hope we see more of it. Rodgers can also pick apart our shaky secondary. Especially if we keep giving up 3rd and longs. That really has me worried. If it weren't on Monday Night, I'd feel a little better. Our history on Mondays is just plain lousy. Check it, we have the 4th worst record in MNF history... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monday_Night_..._team_standings We did win the last one, so maybe our luck has turned....
  21. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/ChalkTalk...p?story_id=4853 Seeing a recent “Chalk Talk” question about the possibility of Brett Favre playing for the Bears got me wondering: How many of the 1985 Bears went on to play for the Packers? I know Jim McMahon is one player who definitely suited up for Green Bay after leaving the Bears. David K. Milwaukee, Wisconsin Four members of the 1985 Super Bowl XX champion Bears later played for the Green Bay Packers: Quarterbacks Jim McMahon and Mike Tomczak, defensive tackle Steve McMichael and linebacker Jim Morrissey. McMahon won a Super Bowl ring as Brett Favre’s backup in 1996. When the Packers were honored at the White House, McMahon wore a Bears jersey, enraging Green Bay fans. McMahon explained that he did it because the Bears never got a chance to visit the White House after winning Super Bowl XX. Their trip to Washington was canceled after the Challenger space shuttle blew up, killing all seven astronauts aboard.
