  2. Same here! (Although my wife liked it...)
  3. I was on the exact same! It was with Celebrity... But we only got a few hours in Victoria. We went ot the Buchart Gardens and a winery... Given that I live in CA, their wine didn't really impress me. But the city is beautiful! Skagway was a real kick! We did the whorehouse and ghost tour. Then did a dog muching training tour. Loved it all! We just stayed clear of all the jewelry stores that are basically owned by the cruises! I think the only stuff we bought were food items like jams, sauces, and tons of smokes salmon and other fish!
  4. Interesting take on Smith. I can't say you're off-base... I'd still lkike better on D, epsecially since I'm not a fan of the scheme, but for now...let's see how this trip goes!
  5. Collins won't matter. Cutler goes down, and we're beyond doomed... I like that he's talking to Hanie. Hanie is the future of our back-up position. Damn, getting called out already Alaska! I still stand by that I don't think Smith is a good HC. But, and I've made comments in other posts to date, he's appearing to step out of the way of his coordinators, and let them coordinate. Most tellingly with Martz. I still think Rod is a puppet for Smith...but at least with peppers and a healthy Url, the Cover 2 has a chance to be moderately successful. And, I will give Smith complete credit, (yes, you read it here folks!) for holding his players accountable. It's about time he did it consitently, and it appears he's now doing that. I think I can stomach more of Smith if everything keeps progressing as we've seen. But we can't lose Martz. I still cringe when we let teams run down the field on us. Not so much with GB becasue they are good. But when Detroit did it, and especially when he let Bowman take on Megtron by his lonesome, I did not like it one bit. Winning sure hides a lot of flaws! I give Smith credit for 2 games so far. I think he basically botched week 1. PS - I was up in Alaska this past summer on a cruise w/ my family. Loved the stops! Especially Juneau where I had the most awsome king crab ever at a shack! Oh yeah, the bears, bald eagles, and other critters were awesome as well! And the fresh halibut was dyn-o-mite!
  6. I continue my silliness... Bears 34 (simply as a tribute to the greatest Bear), New York Crack-head's 0.

  8. Don't count on it... It helps to play Detroit and Jax and look good. He'll post worse numbers asa the season progresses.
  9. Agreed as well. Bottom line, the best defenses stop offenses regardless of how...
  10. Excellent idea. Make him like Coslett or Kiffen or Johnson...make him the most kick ass highest paid OC (albeit my examples are DC's).
  11. If those are the only choices, I'd rather lose Smith at this point.
  12. Given it's from the national media...it's like a proclamation of Hall of Fame status...
  13. There's a difference between a spokeman and media attention... Having a surly guy that plays defense isn't a hinderence in my book. I really don't care that he doesn't answer a lame question presented by the media. No player says anything of interest these days. Well, last year he was injured. The year before he was battling injuries and helped us almost make the playoffs... The Redskins would. And I'm sure a few more might. Depends what goes on with the cap... We could easily get a draft pick, in fact probably a higher pick. We got suckered into Gaines Adams (RIP) for a second. You think someone isn't open for a serious HoF contender for at least the same? Your loss...
  14. Agreed basically. Some coaches shouldn't be HC's... I think Martz is one. I'd love to see him around here for years as an OC all else being equal.
  15. Url isn't the spokesperson for the city, that's unfortunately the mayor! And the spokesperson from the team is unfortunatley Smith! Now, he may be the "face" of the franchise, but really, what has he done? He's had a few chippy statements to the press. He's had child support issues with an ex. He's got bad taste in girlfreinds. Did he get a DUI? Did he punch a fan in a stadium? Did he skip camp? Did he crash his car and run away? Seriously, while he might have a personality of a haystack, I could care less. Because when he's on the filed, he is a beast among men! Ray Lewis is Ali compared to Url being Shemp in the media. But, most other LB's have personalities of haystacks as well.
  16. Really? What games were you watching? Urlacher covers significantly more ground than Hilly, even at less than 90%. Wow...doth hate too much.
  17. Thankfully Martz has fire and passion!
  18. Torn. I hated it against Detroit. But I didn't mind it on Monday. That pass should have been caught by Clark. There was still a lot of game left against Green Bay, so I'm a little more fogiving there. I guess, at least he's consitent. I'd really like to see a freaking run. Even if you have to line Peppers in there!
  19. Since Daley's stepping down, you want the job!? Love that plan!
  20. Seriously? Jamar and Roach are 90% on par with Urlacher? Deventry, read what you're posting. It's ludicrous! If we had a chance to see it, we'd be 0-3....
  21. Not talking about his off-field demeanor, I think you're off base. There's actually very few MLB's that could do what Url does. Especially in Smith's D. Guys like Ray Lewis excel in something more similar to what we ran with Blache under Jauron. I think only Willis could do what Urlacher does right now at best... While we will still have to wait and see how the rest of the season pans out, at least through 3 games, Url is a pro bowler. Our record with him vs without him is quite diffferent.
