What pissed me off most about last season!
Amen!

I think you're getting too caught up in the "baby"/"whiner" BS many are spewing. The crux, and only real knock on the guy is the question of whether he is a winner. That is a legitimate question. He's not won any "big games", been to the playoffs, or had a previous history of being a "winner". He's put up superb numbers. He's shown amazing ability and skills. However, there does seem to be some doubt on his decision making and attitude. Right now, it's too early to tell. But those questions will linger if things don't turn around. I don't want just a stat guy. I want a guy that wins, and leads. We've not had that since Jimmy Mac. I hope we have it now.

We know he's physically tough. I think the question still unanswered is he mentally tough? Only time will tell, and I sure hope he is!

Yes! He seems to be able to bounce back from sacks well!

Smith, Angelo may be at odds over coordinator pick
I'd tend to agree!

Agent Says Panthers Ignoring Peppers
Think forward! Rod won't be around after next season...would you not want Peppers for after that?
-
Smith, Angelo may be at odds over coordinator pick
Exactly... Let the chaos begin!

Smith, Angelo may be at odds over coordinator pick
Seems like old times! Jauron/JA part II - The Hunt for Clue

Agent Says Panthers Ignoring Peppers
Agreed. No picks...but loot, no problem.
-
Agent Says Panthers Ignoring Peppers
With the ginormous savings on keeping Zombie Smith and JA, this should be easily afforable for the the McCaskey royal court.

What pissed me off most about last season!
Nope. Our coaching and preparation was not good enough.

If Martz, then. . .
It's like arguing which poop smells more... Both stink.

Nice article on DA
Agreed. It seems far too often that players only get a chance to shime after an injury takes place.

I see status quo. The stats may zoom or bust, but I htink we do about as well... 8-8, something like that. Some areas good, others bad. Just enough good to make the McCaskey's think about saving their good old buddy, Zombie yet again.

Could 6-10 be considered an improvement this year?
6-10 is not an improvment. And with that, I would not be satisfied. No one should.

Martz interviewing today
Uncle Buck, you know we're in trouble if you're agreeing with me! As you guys mentined...the only hope from this is the expediting of Smith and Angelo's departures, while hopefully not setting Cutler back too many years in the process. Time to invest in Tums and Rolaids...

Kreutz have surgery today
Not the point I was making.... If Zack, or any regular guy, for that matter, were to take a cold clock punch to the jaw by Tyson, our jawbones would be shattered beyond recognition and there's a good chance we'd either be severly concussed, have brain damage, or be dead. Zack's scene was from a movie. The guys Tyson KO'ed in the day were actually KO'ed. And were fighters.

Hub Arkush: Bears Low-Balled Chud
Gotcha. It's hard to see clearly when steam's coming out of one's ears!

Hub Arkush: Bears Low-Balled Chud
Who really knows what's exactly in the coffers. I beleive they can weather it out with ease.

Hub Arkush: Bears Low-Balled Chud
Thank you for that statement!

Hub Arkush: Bears Low-Balled Chud
I can confirm that...

Hub Arkush: Bears Low-Balled Chud
Bottom line, getting to the SB when his contract was pretty much up forced the hand. And Teddy Boy overpaid with a poor contract (for the Bears). Had we not reached the SB, the contract would have been FAR less. I'd say, maybe look at the average of coaches that got to the Super Bowl. not that I have...but I think that would give a better comparision.

We just differ in opinion. Forward thinking business look ahead, those in trouble or poorly run try to stop the bleeding. Do we realy think the NFL sill stop playing games for over a year? Any decent franchise can weather that out. And if you don't act, others with more balls will.
