I think you're getting too caught up in the "baby"/"whiner" BS many are spewing.
The crux, and only real knock on the guy is the question of whether he is a winner. That is a legitimate question. He's not won any "big games", been to the playoffs, or had a previous history of being a "winner".
He's put up superb numbers. He's shown amazing ability and skills. However, there does seem to be some doubt on his decision making and attitude. Right now, it's too early to tell. But those questions will linger if things don't turn around.
I don't want just a stat guy. I want a guy that wins, and leads. We've not had that since Jimmy Mac. I hope we have it now.
