here's the bigger question... Do you WANT the Bears to win this one? To be honest ...part of me does, part of me doesn't... I can't outwardly root agasint the Bears as it's like a gag reflex. But I can turn the channel and let it just play out. I'll be looking for something on D...watching Gilbert and G. Adamas predominantly. On O, I'll be looking at Cutler, Forte, the re-arranged OL mostly... For the Rams, I'm super curious as to how Laurinaitis is.

He isn't great, but he's decent. He'll never be a Peterson or Chris Johnson...

Yep. But that should have happened a while ago too. I completely fault Smith. We all get dealt the cards we have. He has not played his hand well at all. I'm really not sure these 2 clowns know the position they are in. Unfortunately for us fans, larger clowns are running the show at the top.

Good points... My few thoughts on this are: 1. We lose the Rams, it's over for Smith. Expectation is we won't beat any really good teams here on out. 2. We beat the Rams, but lose to the Lions, Smith is out. Can't fall to our historic meager division rival...again. 3. We beat the Rams and Lions, but get trounced by the reat, Smith is porbably out. 4. If we beat any of the contenders, I fear Smith will get a pass. It's a scary thought. We could beat one of those teams on a good day where they are playing for jack and we have nothing to lose.

Interesting point. Although Vermeil and Parcells went w/ 2 and won w/ one. ..I think Shula as well. Reeves went w/ 2 and lost both.
