Let's also not forget the accomplishments of Urlacher and Mike Brown. Guys he inherited and alone won games for us. He had a stacked D when he came to town. Some argue that Blache did a better job with his D... Back when we had big Ted and Traylor, Urlacher was a beast. I think Smith's better than average. But not much more.

Just a thought, but could a lot of Jay's turnovers be related to MB not being in the right place? Seems like the less he was relied on (injury, etc.), the less picks happened...

I'm not sure I completely buy it... But, that said, with a full off-season, and potentially a move to left...given his work ethic and desire, he could make it happen and be excellent.

Many have said it already... I think I just want BPA wherever we pick. We have so many needs still. OL, DL, LB, CB, S, TE, QB, even WR...about the only slot we do not need is RB. We can use a K and P, but not until the very late rounds.
