  1. Damn. Another dream crushed! Well, we still have '85... So we got that going for us.
  2. I think you are correct. Also, is trading Jay and Marshall a possibility? 2 picks from the Raiders? 1&2? With Alston And a draft. I'll put the drink down now. The
  3. Sorry I missed you! I just logged in to commiserate! How disappointing was that? I stayed to the bitter end.
  4. My batting average is very good seeing live games. I'm hoping to improve on that this Sunday! Go Bears!
  5. Wow. 2 of our weakest links according to some folks... Hopefully we will see more from Sharpton.
  6. Could be available for Sunday... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/...week-of-season/
  7. He doesn't have Fencik's moves, but I'll take it!
  8. I will always back up Jimmy Mac. He didn't have amazing numbers, but he had the will to win. Something we haven't quite seen from Cutler. Yet. Yet... But besides Jimmy for his intangibles (and if he hadn't been cheap shotted by that bastard Packer, his numbers may have ended up amazing), Cutler is easily the best QB we'd had. Agreed on Kramer and Miller. Really good, but not as good as Cutler. Orton and McCown aren't even in the conversation.
  9. No. At least I recall one that I think was blocked. Which is a technical miss.
  10. Agreed. I'd like to see what he can do in a jumbo package.
  11. I was truly impressed with Sharpton too. I'd like more of Vereen. He needs gametime experience. Conte cannot be counted on.
  12. Great read. You have taken the baton from Noots!
  13. Briggs is fat and slow...that what it means.
  14. Dang Adam! You are our own wiki! Thank you for sharing yet again!
  15. Thank you for the ongoing update! Please keep up if you do not mind.
  16. Again...heir of the D and ST... Yes. I don't think any of the alternatives are that much greater than what's in hand. Until we are lucky enough to eventually land a "Luck" ourselves...we must make the best out of lemons.
  17. To match your rhetoric... I'm still not truly buying McCown... I think McCown wins the Buffalo and Carolina games...and loses the SF, NYJ, and GB games.
  18. I too am interested in what Jones can bring to the table. He seems to have a mean streak on the field. Maybe he can spark an identity with the D.
  19. No. Grossman was heir to a remarkable defense that rivaled the 85 team. During the regular season with a healthy Mike Brown and Tommie Harris...one could even argue better. And Hester was going off at unprecedented levels. Orton would have flourished playing mistake free. It was one of the big fails between Angelo and Smith that we didn't let Orton continue on. I think we win that SB if Orton starts and plays. Cutler is a better QB, but for that particular regime, Orton would have been enough.
