It was the same here in Nevada. The other problem is when you are in a local market for a 3pm team and the Bears game is broadcast at 12...they kill your game and go to local. In 2002 I was in the Seattle area and if you'll recall the first 3 games that year were close...before the wheels came off that Bears team. IIRC is was 1 or 2 long games, and or 1 or 2 overtime games. All three were cutoff. I was NOT pleased. The best uninterrupted viewing of games is after the fact with the NFL Game Rewind...it just requires that you spend football weekends hiding so as to not ruin the experience by knowing the outcome ahead of time.

Why dont any of those options include Lance Louis at LT? The guy has good feet and power...and really looks like a player. Man was a college TE...move the man.

He was drafted in 06, and is past the 4 year RFA window. From everything I hear he would be UFA (unlikely IMO that he wouldnt be franchised if for no other reason than to move him since he is now a LB in Houston)

Im still waiting to hear anything from the TV talking heads or otherwise taking note of the man who started closest to the goal line on that play ending up being farthest behind the LOS. I sure hope that means we are better up front this year in those kind of situations.

LT - Im simply looking at it this way. IMO Toe is just here to potentially take PT away from younger or more talented guys....and I have a distinct aversion to cutting guys who have enough value to someone else to get something in return for. I seriously think barring a trade of one of these guys we'll see someone cut who is good enough to be in a rotation.

Looks like Denver is screwed up front and may be ready to entertain trying to pry some linemen away from other team. Quite frankly I believe there are too many DTs on the team. I think we need to act quick and send the big Toe over that way, even if its not an exhilarating haul in terms of draft picks. Between Melton and Okoye and Adams, you have a 3 man rotation. That doesnt even include Paea. On that note - if we knew Melton was going to be ready to start and that we would be picking up Okoye....we would have been much better off with OL in rounds 2 and 3 would we not? Ug.

I don't think moving Olsen is a fail. I think not pulling the trigger before now is. I like Greg, but he isn't that good IMO. He fumbles, he doesn't block well, and he is too easy to bring down. Hes been far better on paper than on the field. I think they could have moved him for a 2 last year, and I suspect whatever it is is worth a 4 or 3 at best. Thats the fail IMO.

Can I guess that maybe we are looking at Duke Robinson and a 6th?

This all seems rather fluid with many more cuts beginning to happen. I cant help but think JA wants to see what the full bone pile looks like before making his moves.

Re-sign Roach and Adams Add Lawson (who can play SLB for 2 downs and put a hand on the ground for #3) Add Davin Joseph and Carl Nicks. Im ambivalent on the WRs out there. If there were any more bucks to be spent, Id take Jenkins and add Nate Clements as well. Clements is probably a good cover 2 fit, and he likes to hit.

Anyone else here happy about that? Id take 2 new OL over 1 OL and 1 Babbin.
