  1. If McFadden is still there at 14 and we dont take him it be be the biggest draft mistake in the history of the NFL. Peterson going to the Vikes at the 7 spot blows my mind away. Shit we got CB at the 4 spot. How in the F does that work out. MCFADDEN IS GOING TO BE JUST AS GOOD AS PERTERSON
  2. I watch every ND game as every Bears game so most of you can understand that this past football season was not a lot of fun for me which might explain my heavy drinking before going into the Saints game to end my Bears season. I had a great time at that game but dont remember much of the game. Tom Zibikowski is a Chicago product that played QB in highschool. A college buddy is from his home town so i had to hear about him every week. From the first time i heard his name all i have heard is that he is a play maker. In highschool he was unstoppable. In college he is always in the right spot and makes a lot of plays. He reminds me of Mike Brown in alot of ways. He is a leader and a very smart football player. I WOULDNT MIND US DRAFTING HIM.
  3. With all due respect you all are a bunch of a$$holes! just kidding i love that movie and had to say this. Anyway you look at the qb position its going to be very hard to find a fran qb. There have been too many 1st round busts. Then you can look at Brady who i think was a 6th round draft pick. Flacco and Johnson both scare me.
  4. I cant think of one player on the Giants other then Shockey that i enjoy watching play. People are sucking ELI's d$ck which i cant believe. For all the crap Rex has taken they sure love Manning while he has not done a damn thing. He managed my ass. I would take the Bears(of last year) vs the Giants of this year any day of the week. I would be willing to bet that the Bears would win that game 7or 8 times out of ten. Dude, Seahawk fans cant say sh$t we beat them twice last year, one being a blow out.
  5. That the Giants are in the Superbowl. We should have beat the piss out of them when we played. We started off on fire using the hurry up and then just stopped using it. I was very pissed off after that game. I hope that the Superbowl is a good game. Werid question : Has anyone been kicked out of Soliders Field?
  6. If they were lucky then they would not have gotten through the playoffs to the superbowl. The NFC was not as good as it is this year but the playoff teams normally weed out any team not good enough to be in the superbowl. I remember watching the San Deigo the first game of the season and thinking that our Defense was looking great. We had every starter on the field. Mike Brown was laying wood all over the place. The Dline looked very strong. The next week without Brown and Dusty the D looked a lot different. Then Vasher goes out and it started looking worse. Nagging injuries to Harris and Urlacher have slowed the D's performance, along with more and more injuries. I believe that if our D had not gone through all of these injuries our record would be a lot better. I cant think of which game but i recall at one point in the season we had our whole secondary out with injuries. I dont care how u look at it our D has been weakened by injuries. Take for example the last Vikings game with a injured Dline and the right defensive scheme we shut down AP, we forced them to go to the air and with Vasher back we forced turnovers and should have won that game. As for the Offense there is not much we can do with no running game. Unless you have a Brady or Manning at QB you are not going to win without a run game(not sure how much help either QB would have been with our oline). So we dont have a top tier QB, that tells me we better have a hell of a running game. The running game starts up front with the Oline which is IMO is the weakest link to this football team. I dont care if we had LT AP LJ no one could run behind this line that we have. I take that back Barry Sanders could have but he is the only RB to do so year in and year out in Detroit behind weak olines. I cant count how many times i saw Benson getting hit in the backfield right after taking the handoff. I am a firm believer that if the OLINE is fixed we can contend for the NFC next year. I would be willing to bet that if Benson had a good oline to run behind he could prove that he is not a bust. The biggest changes need for next year are up front with the oline. I hope we can lure Faneca from Pit and then draft a LT. Putting our staring oline at LT=draft, G=Faneca, C=Kruetz, G= Garza, RT=Tait. I wouldnt mind seeing this oline.
  7. Would like to add Why does our run game look horrible? Oline Why even if we had TJ would our run game suck? Oline Why does every QB look horrible in our O? Oline Why would Tom Brady look bad in our O? Oline I agree improve the Oline and everything will look better. Hopefully we can add a quality Free agent G or T and then draft the other.
  8. Jaws, Trico, Cornd$ck showed nothing but love to the Vikings the whole game, they talked like the Vikings were some great team which clearly they are not. To bad the coaching staff didnt put 8 in the box the first time around. Flase starts, our line is old and beat up but with age you would think comes wisdom and stupid false starts should not be a reaccuring theme. The Fred Miller penalty was uncalled for. INT should have been a TD, granted i didnt expect much from Orton. When he threw the ball his mechanics were horrible he was almost falling to the left which is where the ball ended up going if he would have planted and stepped into the throw he could have lead Berrain. On a positive note Vasher played and the defense really played well even with a Dline that is singing guys off the street to fill in. It was good to see Urlacher making plays.
  9. I would love a big time LT that could hold down the Oline for years to come. So we can get back to running the ball like Bears football is all about.
  10. When they Drafted Benson i was not very happy with this pick(i am not a big fan of bruising type backs, i love having speed in the Backfield). Let me say this also that i was not a fan of TJ. Watching the Bears this year left me wondering if Benson could be great. There were some plays that he looked very good. The plays were there was a hole to run in he would pick up some good yardage. Take the Seahawk game he came out on fire and then we sit him. I wish we could have seen him play more in the 2nd quarter. The big problem with Benson is that if there was no hole there was no gain, he does not have the speed or quickness to make something out of nothing. Plus you cant forget the many plays were Benson was getting hit right as the ball was being handed off. I agree with you that Tait and Kreutz should stay and upgrade the rest. Garza might be OK. If the Oline is overhauled i think Benson could be a good downfield runner, which would help out any QB we have in there. I am also a Rex believer, he has shown that he can make the throws that most QBS dream about. I dont think good old 12 or 18 could do much with our offense. Perfect example is Green Bay, the last two years Farve looked horrible due to no run game and a crap oline that gave him no time to throw, this year they give him time to throw and they look great.
  11. I hope they sign him, i like what i saw when he came back after his benching. If i was Rex i would sign here again only if the Bears shore up the O Line. If the Oline is not fixed then Rex is dead in the water along with Benson.
