LOL
there's tons of blame to go around. The coaches are not good.
The call to Kramer was a joke.
The 4th and 1 in the 2nd quarter was an error. Punt there. Instead they gave away an easy FG.
Kmet was on the bench for too much of the 4th qtr
We were running too much out of shotgun
We came out flat in the first qtr after a bye
He should have thrown the challenge flag, even if just to damper the momentum
allowing that out on the second to last play totally unchallenged set up the hail mary
And as you say, they didnt tell the players to play the hail mary that way, but they did - thats discipline and teaching - in other words COACHING.
Delay of game, false start, personal foul, illegal formation - all discipline penalties.
And in general the team was flat and not prepared.
This was on the players AND the coaches. Flus, Waldron and Morgan are NOT good.
I could give a damn good rebuttal to every point you made, but it would be useless.
According to you, anything that goes wrong is the fault of coaching.
I expected that because you had made up your mind before the season even began that Flus sucks and should have been replaced.
IMHO, that is ****
But again, it would be a waste of my time to try to convince you otherwise.
It's one of those things where we will have to accept "irreconcilable differences" 😉

Coaches Coach, Players Play.
I see no reason to blame the coaches., coordinators, Flus, or Poles.
Caleb was 10/24 for 131 yds. Not good!!! If he hadn't missed so many easy throws, WAS would not have had a chance to win with a hail Mary.
Daniels was 21/38 for 326 yds. He showed he can see the entire field, throw deep, and play ball even when in pain. Very impressive.
And I am 100% positive our Flus & Williams did not instruct their defensive backs to line up on the 5-yard line and play volleyball.

UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not on Flus. Not on Waldron. Caleb needs to be able to hit wide-open receivers. I counted 3 really simple throws he missed in the first quarter. Daniels, despite being in obvious pain, is so far the superior performer on the field today. Let's hope Caleb can turn things around.

Big game tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to seeing our offense against a more capable defense than we've seen. Time to get to level 2.
Here's to continued growth in the face of increasing challenges.I'm more interested in seeing what our defense can do against one of the top-scoring offenses in the league. Washington's defense sucks. If we cannot continue to show growth against their putrid D, we are nowhere near the team I was expecting coming out of the bye-week.

Watson tore his achilles, like Rodgers, career probably over, if it is the same side as his knee injury.
The way he was playing, the Browns might improve with his absence from the starting lineup. Talk about a bad investment! I was shocked when they gave up so much to get this guy and then paid him a huge contract.

Drake Maye 16-37, 70.3%, 276 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT against JAX. Wow what an amazing game for the rookie.
However, what they won't tell you is 135 yards and 1 TD came in the 4th quarter down 15 with the Jaguars playing prevent.
The way I see it, (without having to watch all-22 tapes multiple times), Maye has thrown 5 TDs in his first two games, some against prevent defenses, with a group of WRs that would have trouble making our starting lineup. What is his future? Hell, no one knows. Too early to tell. He certainly will not be as good as Caleb. But I am not going to discount his success to date. Hell, 5 TDs in his first two games with inferior support. How many TDs did Caleb throw in his first two games with an all-star lineup of WRs?

On the Prime pregame broadcast of TNF, they said that Caleb Williams is the first quarterback picked #1 in the draft to win four out of his first six games since 1967 (the year I graduated from high school, LOL).
By that I am assuming Caleb is the only #1 QB selected in the modern era after the merger of the AFL & NFL to achieve that distinction.
How cool is that!

NFL trade deadline is approaching. Devante Adam’s reunited with Rodgers Amari Cooper is traded to the Bills. Poles has stayed the course so far. Now with Caleb improving rapidly it’s fair to say we are going to compete for a playoff spot. What move for which position would you make to shore up the playoff run? For me I’d trade for a legit starting DT to shore up that rotationSportsmockery.com has an article about a possible trade scenario for Poles to exploit. It is suggesting we trade for JAX OG Brandon Scherff. Evern, though he is 32, is still a considerable upgrade for us and has a year left on his contract after 2024.
I'm unsure if I am all-in on this idea, but an upgrade for our OL & DL, if cheap, would be ideal. (Cheap being the optimal word. I DO NOT want to give up any of our 3 picks in the 1st & 2nd rounds.)

Wilson has had his share of injury issues lately. I suspect that even if given the starting gig, he will miss more time before the season is over.

I had a head on collision on May 21 and broke my tibial plateau, which is the former growth plate. They told me six months healing time, but I'm 58 and obese. Hutch can be back in mid January if the breaks are clean. Nerve damage is a different story.
Take it easy Mongo. Sorry to hear about your accident.
I just saw a slo-mo closeup of Hutch's injury. It's nasty. It's very low on his chin, my guess six to eight inches or so above the ankle. My guess is that he might make it back, but it's a 50/50 call.

We have to keep the foot on the gas, this game is not over yet.
I believe Caleb heard you! 😉

Make that 3 TDs! AWESOME!!!!!!!!

It was a bad INT, but he certainly made up for it with excellent runs and two passing TDs!

Several things concern me.
Jax has two players, both over 200 yards rushing, 273/231 (Bigsby & Etienne), while we have been a bit sloppy stopping the run.
I've never been a big Lawrence fan. However, on any given day, he can burn you. Will returning to London be a catalyst?
Jax will be playing a home-away-from-home game in London. They have the most experience of all teams playing overseas.
Finally, how will Caleb respond to the extreme spotlight playing in his 1st international game?

Not that they are watching what the Bears are doing but by the time we play them our division rivals will have missed out on the easy games against a rookie QB. The Vikings game against their aggressive defense will be a bellwether for Caleb's progress. Fields and Getsy were completely lost against them last year but even then on film review you could see WRs wide open on numerous plays.
If I'm not mistaken, Fields and the Steelers will play LVR & Getsy this weekend. It should be interesting. I still can't believe the Raiders hired Getsy. I see where WR Adams has requested a trade. He wants to get the hell out of LV. I wonder why? LOL

I found the video from last week...
That was painful to watch. That's not coaching, IMO. That's Braxton signaling to Poles he is burnt toast.
Don't know if it is because of his injury last year, or maybe he isn't near 100% this year, or just F***ing lazy.
One thing for sure, he is going to get Caleb injured if he continues to play like what I just saw in the video.
I read a lot of positive press about Amegadjie. Let's hope he can take over the LOT spot soon.
I wouldn't complain if Poles used his 1st and both 2nds on the OL in the 2025 draft.

OMG! BEARS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stafford is good in the clutch. Too much time left. I hope you are right.
-
Right now, short pass, no turnover. 1st down wins it.
-
Crap. Not good. Only up by 6.

We need at least three points, I am getting nervous.

We are going to have to settle for a FG, CW missed that play.
Missed 2 at end of half, one overthrown to Rome, one miss to DJ.
Caleb's accuracy is still off. Needs to escape the pocket when it collapses. Coupled with pre-snap penalties. IMO, that is not on coaches, it is on players executing.

I agree with all of this except the first sentence. I mean, yes it is possible both can succeed, but I just dont believe in Daniels as a real NFL QB.
That's fine. I knew you were down on Daniels before the draft. However, I still feel he is the real deal IF HE CAN AVOID INJURY ISSUES.
The only concern I have is that he needs to bulk up with some muscle, or his body will not be able to withstand the beating NFL quarterbacks take.
If physical durability is taken out of the question, I think he can be a top-15 quarterback going forward.
I still hope Caleb can become a top-5 NFL quarterback, but his accuracy and ball security concern me.

Good Grief. I did not take personal shots at you.
In so many words, I said that I totally disagree with you and that it would be foolish to try to convince you that you were wrong in your assessment.
You need to stop taking everything I say personal.
