  1. Not sure if this was mentioned, but another huge advantage for losing is the Bears will get first chance on waiver wire claims. If Poles holds off on spending huge in the first wave, it might be because he feels he will spend a hefty amount on cuts.
  2. All I can go off of is Washington stating they are signing him. Could all be for show but maybe they find a way.
  3. The Bears did a lot of 3-4 with him. In nickle, they went 4-3 and he may line up 3t or 5t.
  4. This what it tells me, must be my phone Webpage not available The webpage at https://twitter.com/hashtag/DaBears?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc^tfw could not be loaded because: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE
  5. From pff, 3T are rarely over 300 and usually on the shorter side and always quick. Main assignment is to be in the backfield creating havoc. Here are some player to compare. Eberflus doesn't mind the non-typical 3T Justin Jones 6-3 305 - 5.09 40 yd Larry Ogunjobi 6-4 395 - 4.97 40 yd Deforest Buckner 6-7 295 5.0 40 yd Tommie Harris 6-3 295 4.78 40 yd Aaron Donald 6-1 280 4.68 40 yd
  6. I think these are being blocked by tweeter. Everyone I try to open says link is broken.
  7. Photo pulled down, but was a nice Weber grill.
  8. We would just keep checking but glad you fixed it. You know you're an addict when you pop in every few hours.
  9. Poles knew the assignment. He razed the house and nailed it. Not only did he get his hands on the top pick, he has the team sitting 1st or 2nd with open cap space. That is a great status to see. Williams taking over as team President is even more refreshing, they nailed that too. Listening to him today, I have no doubt he will layout his blueprints and this team will soon be the best franchise in the league not by just having the best loyal fans but having the best stadium and a team that takes hold of the division for good. So trading Mack, Quinn, Smith, and letting Hicks and Goldman walk was tough and I wish them well but the assignment was to rebuild the Bears from ground up.
  10. Watch out because the next 3 months there will be a lot of hype created around Will Levis and Anthony Richardson who both have better tools.
  11. Not a fan of using first round picks at LB/RB but rd 2 you can consider.
  12. I mention that they add 1 or 2 FA and draft 2 and that was too many with the other holes. We know we need RT, C and possibly G. Poles was in KC when they revamped the line there by drafting C Creed Humphries 2nd rd and Trey Smith G 6th rd and bringing in 5 FAs "led the Chiefs to add Brown, Thuney, Austin Blythe, Long, Humphrey, Smith and 2020 opt-outs Duvernay-Tardif and Niang" I think Poles keeps bringing the talent in until they are great with solid depth.
  13. I project Poles to sign 1 or 2 top Oline FAs and then draft 2 in the first 4 rounds. If Jones is one of the best 5, then he stays. The oline can run block but is terrible in pass. That has to change.
  14. Jones held his own as a rookie but if Poles can bring in someone better, then Jones has to beat that guy in TC and elevate to hold his spot. I'm good with that. I want Getsy to put his offense in that doesn't have restrictions because of holes on the line.
  15. Seattle or Oakland works. Devante Adam's might be a better fit with Claypool and Mooney.
  16. 2023 all hinges on Justin Fields taking that next step. To help him take that step, he needs talent around him. The oline could have 3 or 4 new starters. Don't be surprised if Poles brings in Orlando Brown to play LT, drafts a RT and C in first 3 rounds along with a WR. The Defense needs 4 new lineman. Draft 2 or 3 and sign 2 FA. A move down once or twice could give the ammo to draft 2 oline, 1 wr, and 2-3 dline in top 100 picks.
  17. I would hate to see him leave when he hasn't got to do much magic yet. I think the next two years if the rest of the balls drop right will be rewarding
  18. Poles said he will be sound in FA. Need the right guys and good financial decisions. I hope we don't miss out on our targets either.
  19. Levi's has all the tools you want but needs to be refined. He can elevate himself at senior bowl and combine.
  20. I loved hearing stories about Hester and how he spent so much time in training camp just catching punts. They threw every type of kick at him because every punter in the league had different techniques. I hope Flus had V12 doing that in TC. I would like to see him step up to WR3 next year. Be our Deebo Samuel with sweeps and screens.
  21. Velus breaks 100 yards receiving for the year and adds a 42 yd touchdown run on a sweep. He had a slow start but as the team and himself gained confidence in each other he showed what he is capable of doing. I believe he takes that next step in 2023.
  22. The Bears only beat Hou with a last second FG.
  23. I would say the Bears can trade down to pick 8 or 10 and gain much more than they lose. Trade 1 -pick 2 for pick 4, 18, & 2024 1st. Trade 2-pick 4 for pick 8, 39, & 2024 1st Big picks - Tyree Wilson DE, Paris Johnson LT, Calijah Kancey 3T, Garvin Dexter 5T, John Micheal Schmitz C. I regret missing a good WR around 65-70 range. But 2024, we are not missing out on Harrison The rest are depth/competition Van Pran is G/C depth.
  24. Pollard is my first choice if they move on from Monty. I still would not be shocked if they take a RB 2nd or 3rd round as long as they accumulate picks by trading down. They got to watch two of my favorite prospects up close. Jahmyr Gibbs Ala and Sean Tucker Syracuse. Gibbs is one of my favorite because he can do it all (run, catch, and block.) I know it is not popular, but a great receiving back like Gibbs will be a huge piece for this offense to help Fields.
