I think the Bears told him "sorry kid, it doesn't look good and if you recover, come back". They own his contact for 3 years. White can concentrate on rehab or another career.

Maybe got on this site...or hanging with Zah?
  3. That is Artificial Intelligence, not a person.
  4. A lot of smoke for a kid that wasnt drafted or signed initially as an udfa. He might pick up the plays faster, but dont think the 3rd rounder is not smart, watch his tape. They had him doing a lot at LSU. He will be like Burton coming on late. When he clicks, the Bears have pieces to exploit any defense.
  5. Turner was announced by the bears after the draft as being versatile defensive lineman for playing across the line. Id rather see him as a 3T for his size, but they played him outside when shorthanded and thats were they need him now...since they didnt add any. .
  6. I think they believe they added to the DE with drafting Booker, signing Dayo, and then drafting Turner. Booker has shown flashes, Turner hasnt had much opportunity, and according to Dennis Allen, Dayo was starting to come along when he got hurt. But first round prospect, no. They should've taken Verse instead of Odunze bc they wont be in position to get a top 10 prospect for a while.
  7. Ive see at least 2-3 DEs that would Allen's fits next draft. I can see that with Sweat, Dayo, Booker, and Turner that the edge room has investment in it, more competition would have been nice, so I'll give them a year. DT, they decided 3 FAs and a 6th rd is good, we will see. Those have to be addressed soon with higher ceiling talent.
  8. Seeing the potential with this class. Hope they all turn out to be great. When a team has grown as much as the Bears, they can narrow their search for the types of players the need/want. Next draft they will need to repeat nailing 5 positions and then the rest getting next man up at OL, TE/WR. I have 2 DT, 1 DE, 1 RB, 1 S
  9. LSU motioned him a lot, I see Ben moving him as much or more. I'm excited to see year 2 of the BJ era.
  10. The Bears have waived Zah Fraizer CB. Missed 2025 season due to personal reasons. He was a 5th round pick in 2025 draft.
  11. A few games that ive seen with Kraft, he is dangerous. Not sure if they know how to use him properly, but if he was here he'd be welcome.
  12. "Moore's targets are going to Burden, Odunze, Loveland, Thomas, Raymond, and Roush. So not all of Moore has to be replaced by a rookie" Add Kmet, Walker, Swift and Monigai and his receptions split out even moore. If they Bears do run moore 12 and 13 personal, will they notice.
  13. He is working on something and I believe if we didn't package our 2 - 7ths to move up for the DT, we would have drafted him. Have to be ready for injuries, retirements or salary cuts
  14. I would extend Thuney another year or two. His play hasnt declined and all you hear are players wanting to play next to him to gain knowledge. He is not only a top 3 Guard, but one of your biggest recruiters. This is nothing the Bears need to consider until the end of the year. Then I can say you heard it here first haha. Also, they will be extending Caleb this year unless he craps the bed. Poles is already working on that.
  15. I messed that up, but you are correct 10 in dead and in 13 savings. Jackson would be the 3rd highest paid member of the Bears
  16. I only said they could cut or trade him in 2027, which they could.. Why, he gets paid 23 million. Why they probably won't is they only gain 3 million. But because he had a good year doesnt mean the next guy wont make it better and be cheaper. They will add and subtract players and we will see who in 8 months or so.
  17. So your are telling me you have a Jonah Jackson jersey...ugh 23 million is a lot for a right guard for 2027. If they have Newman or Barnett developed into a starter quality by 2027, then they could look to move him like Cole Kmet. Poles will be making moves and yes I expect a few defensive guys to go too but no one is safe if you have options behind them that you feel good with. That is one way to keep them good longer.
  18. Id say by the amount the Bears paid him, he will stick around. I haven't seen any of his tape but hope if he was a heavily targeted player that coach Roushar sees potential to mold him into the future RG. Jonah Jackson could be a cap casualty after 2026 season costing 10 mil dead cap but 13 mil savings. Might not be worth the 3 million gain, but possible.
  19. The PCL sprain was something he said he was dealing with from the 2024 season, which carried into the spring of 2025. He was never officially clocked for that 4.28 40 time, but wore the Catapult System in 2023 and was recorded hitting 23.4 mph. He was not a combine invite but a FSU pro-day ran 4.63. His testing and measurables are bad, but why not take a look at him and see if by fall he improves because he was a phenom his sophomore year at Tennessee. We can now put the Squirrel to rest and look at the Vanilla Gorilla because the TTNL guy, Phil, said he was one of the few linemen he wanted the Bears to draft.
  20. I dont think I've ever selected him, but recall looking at his profile. I wanted elite speed at RB or WR
  21. I hope he can learn all the WR positions and the complete route tree since he could be moved all over the field. I was shocked to see the academics honor, gives me a better feeling about his potential.
  22. Many thought the Bears reached on Zavion Thomas, but players with 4.28 speed usually go rounds 1 thru 4. If the Bears didn't take him, another team would have a few picks later. You can't coach speed and with Kalif Raymond signed for only one year, he can help mentor Zavion to get him adjusted to the NFL. Zavion Thomas was also on the 2024 SEC Academic honor roll and was a leader in the LSU WR room
  23. Roush's High School football coach was Trent Dilfer. Dilfer mentioned teams going 3 TEs is cheaper, they dont get paid the same as WRs. You play 2 WRs in 12 personal, 1 WR in 13, so you dont need as many WRs on the roster as well. Count down to Bear fans chirping on the socials about how the Bears are broke/cheap for taking the TE....3..2..1.
  24. Ha! I have a long ways to go to catch a few.
  25. Me? I dont post a lot, draft time sure. My post was about finding an Odunze replacement next year. Walker might be it, but until he shows more, hes not a #1 X WR. Fill-in, yes.
