I think it was Biggsy that said that Bulger is looking to go somewhere to restart his career instead of being the career backup. Sure he once was good with Martz but he is now 33. How much does 1 think he still has left. I am happy with Cutler and Hanie.
-
Your absolutely right. Our WR's showed improvement and also provides us with a lot of hope considering they are all really young and talented to go along with a young and talented Cutler.

I seriously doubt Olsen is going any where.

I don't drink the same kool aid that you do but I see where you are getting at. But as far as Tinoisamoa he isn't signed yet. Therefore its not an upgrade. I like Hilly but I would prefer Tinoisamoa.

There is 1 thing that Freeney, Dumervil and Harrison all have in common though. Its called DRIVE. The have the Drive to be the best. Does Melton have this. I sure hope so.

IF, now of course this is a big IF, can handle it, I think we will be looking forward to a very fun offense. Now lets just hope for the best with the Defense. I would hate for the Offense to be great but the D stop us from winning.
-
Yeah I don't have a problem with that either. I talked with a friend of mine yesterday during the hockey game and he is even a little confused on Browns' true value. I think some team could part with at least 4th or 5th. Considering that he is an average starter, he is very stout against the run, solid at best pass rush, can get u between 5-7 sacks a year and the best fact is that he is a true professional. He goes out there every game and works his butt off and you never hear anything about him off the field.

lmao. If we cut him again do we get to save that money again then as well. If so I am allll for it. lol
-
I agree. Although with Forte I don't think we need to worry about him whining like TJ did. I just don't see Forte being that kinda person. Lets also factor in the fact that Taylor was just looking to go somewhere to be a part of the offense NOT to just start. I'm sure Taylor could have gone elsewhere to get a little bit more money. I know he is being pd like a starter but to me the money just doesn't matter this year. My case in point is Whitehurst, QB. He is getting pd 10 mil over 2 years, but yet he is going to be the backup.

Yeah, I have been to a number of games so far this year. They are playing Chicago Wolves tonight. game is sold out also lol
-
If anyone could watch it and posts on here what they say. I would be very interesting. Unfortunately I will be at a hockey game. Minor league affiliate of the Blackhawks. I promised a little boy that I would take him and unlike his father I keep my promises lol.

Don't listen to the rumors because the same rumors have McNabb and Asante Samuel going to Oakland for Nnamdi. And the Eagles have said they want a top 42 pick for McNabb.

Now your hoping that our coaching staff is willing to change things up in the middle of game when that haven't even showed the ability to change game plans during half time yet. That is alot of wishing.
-
With us saying that we are going to trade him or release him I don't see us getting a pick for him as teams will just wait until we release him. With the subtraction of Vasher and now Brown I hope we do go after Atogwe or someone to shore up the FS spot.
-
Hey, I understand it also but why in the world would you go public and say that if you can't trade the guy that he is going to be released. By saying this you are telling every team this. How many teams do you think will make a trade with us knowing that he is going to be released? try 0. I am pissed at this move because of Biggsy reporting this. This is absolutely horrible. We need to be able to get something in return for him. What has Issy, Anderson and Gilbert done to make Brown expendable? Anderson had a great rookie year but we saw what happened when we made him the starter. Issy is very underrated but he is just now making the switch to DE, I don't have much faith in it at all to make Brown expendable. I got nothing against Gilbert at all since the coaching staff basically red shirted him last year. Lets also keep in mind this coaching staff's track record in drafting DE's. This horrible, unless we are able to get something for Brown.

This isn't exactly how I wanted to wake up. Looks like Alex Brown is gone. WTF???????????/ http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2111914.story

What I find funny is that 28 owners approved however most coaches are against it. I wonder what they did to get this past considering that there was an early poll that showed that only 10 owners agreed with it yesterday morning and then by the time they voted they had 28 votes.
-
I agree with the college system. It gives both teams a chance. Unlike the NFL doesn't always give both team a chance.
-
Wow, that 1st guy is huge.
-
I think that I read that they will vote again in May to see about adding it for the regular season 2010.
-
I don't have a problem with them changing it to allow the other team a chance but this doesn't do that. I think if you wanna change it this way then both teams should be guaranteed the ball 1 time before sudden death begins. I don't like how this is changed but only for the playoffs. If u wanna change it fine, but change it for everything, because you know there is going to be that 1 team that forgets.
-
I don't think they will now that we have addressed that position via FA.
-
Why would he want to change it during his college career? Did you see his numbers. He was downright amazing every year. A major success in college. If he would have changed his throwing motion earlier do you think he would have had the same success with that system? I personally don't know. It's easy to sit here and say Yes or No but we don't know if he would have done better. Its hard to imagine him doing any better than he did there.
