I'm not basing my judgement regarding cutler on these 2 preseason games. He's been here for a little while and I see a guy who has all the tools to be elite but he makes to many stupid mistakes for me to put him with the other elite guys. Granted an oline that's at least decent will help but personally I don't see an elite qb. I see a good qb that will make amazing plays 1 series and then follow it up and make us scream at him. I see a guy that will is capable of winning us games by himself and he will also loss us games by himself. Just my opinion of course

PFF just tweeted about long. Saying they graded him at +5.7 for last night. They also said that's ridiculous for a guard.

I agree that he is not an elite qb. However I think he is good enough to get us to a SB. It's extremely frustrating that so far emery went out and got him some new toys yet everything goes BM way. Why did we spend the big bucks on Bennett if we won't even look his way. I can't blame game plan as this is exactly how things were last yr. I do wonder that maybe all the yrs of abuse he has taken cuz of bad line play has sunk in so far he's forgotten how to properly go thru his progressions. If that's true maybe we need to give it time before he can trust his line not to get him killed. I loved during game cutler was asked about how fun it is to play with Long up front and cutler said it was great cuz dude is nasty and really likes to hit ppl. I took that as a shot at Webb Lol. Maybe this will mean he won't hit Long cuz he will hit back lol

Yeah. I remember few yrs ago most tried making the point the raiders had an excellent pass defense and how great nmadi was. It was a friend of mine who was a raiders fan told me to watch 1 of there games and u will notice no one even bothers passing cuz there run D gave up 5 ypc and when they do pass they just target any where nmadi wasn't cuz the rest of the team was so bad. It was funny just watching. As a side note I hate how the NFL team rankings is purely based on # of yds while ignoring everything else that goes into offense and defense.

Don't remember off hand but if I can find them others I'll let u know. I remember emery saying he used several sites including PFF. My only point overall is that all that is open for interpretation. Just because 1 person saw a play 1 way doesn't mean everyone will see exact same way

Problem I have is when ppl use a single source like PFF as the word of god. I'm not taking a shot at anyone. This is just a general statement. There are several other places just like PFF that breaks down games play by play just like PFF and in many cases u will see they disagree with each other. No 1 site is perfect. Just like when I hear some point out a specific stat to make there points but completely ignores all other stats. Once again this is not taking a shot at anyone. Just general statement as I've seen some friends of mine do this same thing. Drives me nuts

Yeah I agree. Unless he's gonna miss 3-4 months I just can't see it. I think this is case of over reacting. Which we all know the media does all the time

As much as I don't like Webb I have hard time believing he doesn't make the team. Mills wasnt very good either and if he starts at RT come regular season it just tells me how bad Webb is. All off season we kept hearing how Webb is getting better and how he really only struggles against speed rushers so it was extremely disappointing to see Webb get pushed around on that sack because he lost his base and then on the very nxt play he stopped moving his feet which is why he never laid a finger on the guy. I know in high school the OL are told to make sure your feet are always moving. Now its very clear its a real competition, for better or worse who knows. But because its a clear competition now I am at least happy

OK here's my thoughts after watching the game this morning. 1 that INT cutler threw is on both jay and alshon. It was a quick slant and Jeffrey needs to keep running through the route. However jay stared down alshon so hard everyone in there grandmother knew where it was going. 2. I like what I saw from Long. He made some mistakes but also showed his high motor and quick hands. 3. Webb was a mess. And it wasn't speed rushers. On 1 play it was a simple double move and he fell for 1st move then stopped his feet allowing defender to go around untouched. I hope it was just 1 game cuz with all these injuries now its only him there. 4. Not worried about the offense cuz last night it was 1 route ran to death and only 1 shot going deep. 5. I want to see more of ford to see if he can overtake Allen. I hope he can. There's more but that's enough for now lol

Does anyone play in dynasty leagues. I think I would like to get in 1. I had a buddy that was gonna run a local one til some personal family issues came up on him

I listened to game on radio and the announcers put it on cutler for this very reason. All that said I cant say I was disappointed in the 1st string. If u take away that pick cutler performed pretty good. Was 4 of 5 without that pick. Another thing I liked was the quick slants that just always seemed to work. At least this is what I caught on radio. My wife recorded game so I can watch it when I get home.

I really hope neither is long term. Especially Melton.
