I really don't think Tommy's knee was right from the start. After his second secret scope they should have put him on ice until mid season. I felt he came back way to early. Nobody can play with one leg especially the DT in the Tampa 2 scheme and be effective . I can't blame Tommy for trying but I can blame Lovie for having blinders on and not seeing this kid limping play after play. It's time for somebody to step up and fill in !

It's been a tough week listening to the so called experts ( TV, Radio ) pick apart this team, especially the offense. What I see is an offense that is in transition. We had 6 new starters last week, 7 this week on offense. But all they want to do talk about an interview after the game by our QB. (I myself do not know what the big deal was. Is he the new Vick, Owens and Burrass the NFL badboy ! That is BS ! IF Lovie has friends like that I hate to see his enemies.) It may get worse before it gets better ! I don't when everything will click in but when it does we will be pleased. We may see some games where we could score tons of points and then close to none. We have some gems on offense that will shine this year and years to come only time will tell. But lets be honest the road to the playoffs maybe rough this year despite the so called easiest schedule. Injuries will play a big role this season both on offense and defense. Good or bad, I myself have to be more patient. ( no I'm not a cub fan patient ) I'm more excited to see this offense grow from the early stages of infancy to a top notch Offense. Yea I said it! We will bounce back !

I really don't want to make waves, but behind Forte we have 2 backs who are temp backs. Backs who I think cannot carry a heavy load if there is an unscheduled vacation by Forte. Why not get a big young back like Jennings who can learn and get up to speed now. Then wait and settle for an older Fa who may cost alot more, and be injury prone. Peterson and Wolf are okay for what they do, and Mckie is a suprise to me he's still with the team. I just feel uneasy with these guys.

While watching the replay of the bears and browns, I saw a rookie rb on the browns that stood out. I believe he was an FA. This kid had good hands, speed, size, and ran with power. I was really impressed ! #34 chris Jennings Did anybody else see this kid ?

I agree, if things are going well with what is being reported then I don't see Davis being around to long. But how many wr's can actually be protected without being on the active roster ?

... It seemed like a feeding frenzy for OL and WR's. There was some teams I thought drafted like they were sitting at the buffet table at all you can eat restaurant. I was pretty much busy all day but checking in periodically not wanting to miss our 2nd rnd pick. Unfortunately it was not in the cards. It seems Angelo tried to trade for Boldin but Az. wanted to much. Even though it would have been nice, but no dice. I can honestly say I do not know who was on the board at 49 when we traded Our 2nd rnd pick to Seattle to say if it was a good move or not. I guess Angelo saw no reason to reach for a #2 that they can have in the 3rd rnd. I want to thank you guys for updating possible draft picks for Sunday.

Last time I posted I got a little riff for being negative on our Bears being stagnant with the fa market. Listen I don't post a lot but when I do I call it as i see it. I knew if we went into the season with what we had, There was little hope that we would go far into the playoffs. I would even go as far to say it would be hard to win our division. Now with the recent moves I see hope. Hope that I was asking for in the likes of a all pro QB and and that all pro OL. Yes, Pace might be up in age and have health issues but it's an upgrade. And yes it's only a stop gap. We can't solve all our problems in single off season but it's a start. It seems that mush's " wr's go to chicago die " comment that was repeatedly used by the media all last season and could have prevented some FA wr's to come here is now "dead". Just maybe some FA's will rethink about coming to the bears. Just maybe there are some more surprises Jerry has up his sleeve.

After a disappointing last season I see no reason to get hyped about this year so far. I expected just little more FA signings for more depth and at least 2 starters before draft day. I really believed that we would have signed a free safety with more experience, leadership and pro bowl caliber type. The same goes with an olinemen with the same qualities. I guess we could still pick some Fa's after the draft to fill in where we need too. Maybe the grab a handfull of shit and throw it against the wall to see what sticks theory is going on here. Nfo maybe had it right when he posted about Angelo short sheeting Lovie like he did Jauron. I normally don't agree with Nfo but I think he hit it on the head. Good read Nfo! This does not let Lovie off the hook, he pretty much has been hand picking his coaches. Now with 2 seasons gone and no playoffs, no developed talent on either side of the lines and few more other positions. (but were close) He now knows that his twig and berries are in a vise. So he hires another best friend, moves his other best friend back to where he should have stayed, hires another unknown secondary coach. and Lovie himself will be more active in play calling. Maybe, this is why he didn't throw Turner out on his ear because he needs to win now. If he hired another OC it would require at least a couple of seasons to see good results. If his defense does make a big improvement somewhere near the top five D's in the league and the offense is average that just might buy him sometime. Just maybe he then would consider changing OC's Back to Angelo, he gave me some hope when he singled out the QB position as a starting point to improve, so I ASSUMED that we would have traded for a REAL QB or signed a FA who could challenge NORTON. Shame on me ! Yes, I am losing patients fast guys, I need intervention. Give me hope ! I work in a hostile environment with steeler, viking, packer, and colt fans and it's getting harder to defend my BELOVED Bears. Have a nice day !

First, I don't know what to make of what was said at the press conferences with Angelo and Lovie after our last game. Also later thru newspaper and radio interviews. Plus toss in with Turner chiming in with his views. Does it sound like their all on the same page? I must admit Lovie has some big cajunas to come out and say he will be more of HC/DC, Babich DC/LB , hiring Marinelli DL/assistant HC and Hoke DB. If this does not workout next season ( which I pray it does work ) even with or without some help from FA's or within the Bears Org. lovie is putting his head on the block. I would consider the minimum would be a top 10 Defense a success. On offense, it seems we have no direction of what we want to establish. Lovie, keeps on saying we will run comming off the bus ( a power running game ) and Turner says he's running a west coast offense ( a way way way distant cousin ). Do we run to pass or pass to run ? Either way we still need to have a good solid base and that starts with our oline. We saw some good things from them but it wasn't on a consistent basis thru a whole season, 4qtrs etc. How many open field blocks were missed on screens or draws let alone just to get out and set up to block. After forte broke the line of scrimmage did you see any olinemen getting ( Beekman mostly ) to the second tier or running down field to scrape off would be tacklers ?( corners, safeties and Lb's get weary of 300# plus Olinemen with a running start ) These are are just some of the small things that were missing. With that said the packers and lions are going with 3-4 defenses and several teams scheduled next season will use the 3-4. A year older will they improve ? Hopefully for starts Williams will be a big help, and stay healthy and we address some of our needs. If your a FA prime QB or WR would you come to the Bears ? Would big bucks and length of contract be your only decision to sign ? Would chances of winning and opportunity to go to the Super Bowl be considered ? How about health and well being ? How about your weapons to work with and Olinemen ? If Angelo and Lovie said TRUST ME will get you those things just sign on the dotted line......

My son bought the newest "need for speed" game but we had trouble with the game constantly freezing or the message kept saying dirty disk or damaged. The disk was spotless and no scratches. So we returned it and received another with the same problem. WE called xbox and they said it was our hard drive. Which is fine since it is under warranty, but if we send our hard drive in we lose all data saved. Is there some way to retreive this data and place it in another storage unit, and then when the new drive arrives put this data back in the new hard dive ?

Let's assume that Lovie keeps his staff intact and Angelo keeps the same blue print for offseason building ( drafts, FA's, Extending team players contracts). Last year i was suprised that Williams was our #1 pick ,but it was a definate a must. Angelo likes to pick up seasoned OL Vets ( early 30's) to fill in as stop gaps. I think we can agree on that Offensive line and WR's seems to be a must this year as well as FS and DL. I know we have certain amount of cap space allowed for Fa's and draft choices. But my question is what positions should be filled by FA's and what by draft picks and by whom? My Fav 1 round drafts are Taylor Mays, William Moore, Heyward Bey, Jeremy Maclin, Cirion Black, Michael johnson, and Eugene Monroe. My Possible Fav FA pickups UFA Vernon Carey ROT, Albert Haynesworth DT ( Url and Tommy would love Big Albert ), Rocky Bernard DT, Dunta Robinson CB if healthy enough , Chris Gamble CB, WR TJ houshtoo-long-name, Derick Ward RB ( giants have some big contracts to fill and extend, Jacobs is one) this would be a nice one two punch for the bears, maurice mooris RB.
