Thats Martz for ya. Genius indeed.
-
I just hope the Martz/Cutler show got their crap figured out during the bye week. Here's to hoping for a blowout.

I saw that. He put a nice dip-your-shoulder move on the tackle and got to the QB in 3 seconds. I thought wtf!!!! as well. Guess you become less complacent when you know every game could be your last.
-
lol Actually they are...which allows me to still say that you have no idea what would have been done with the picks. If you look recently, Angelo himself has said that he has cooled on the notion that an Oline is to be built up from FA and that drafting is a better way to go. Situations change, looking at his drafts from 5 years ago tell us nothing of what might happen today. The team has changed, needs have changed, and philosophy has changed. Now, with that being said, perhaps JA would not have taken an olineman. But to say that there is no way, is simply not true.
-
Totally agree with this. I think Harbaugh would do well.

Couple problems I have with this. "For people to act like Cut having three different OCs/Offenses the past three years shouldn't have been that big of a problem need to get their head examined." This was basically Cutler's doing. He whined his way out of Denver and basically got rid of Turner with his red zone turnovers. Now he is stuck with an OC that is getting him killed, but is just as arrogant as him. The grass is not always greener. "Don't post here and support the Bears if/when he proves you wrong because the only rational way to give up on Cutler this early is if you're wanting him to fail." lol, shoot, I hope he proves me wrong. He hasn't yet though. All I care about is wins. I'd rather dink and dunk and win, then have some "high powered" offense that loses the game for us. The part about not posting here is pretty funny coming from a guy with 8 posts though.
-
Enough with the drama. The bottom line is you have no idea what JA would have done with the draft picks. To suggest that he would have taken an Oline is just as valid as saying that he would not have. "Angelo has a track record of drafting positions other than OL. This is a fact." You do realize that he just drafted Chris Williams who is an olineman. Fact.
-
And, you sir, are delusional to say that he wouldn't. Look bud, noone is saying that he absolutely would have taken, but but to suggest that he wouldn't when the guy just took a LT prospect is just wrong. Really, you cant say either way, so all of this fortune telling you are trying to do is moot.
-
Here is the bottom line, I want wins. How many wins has Cutler cost the team with his turnovers this and last year? If that dipsh*t simply throws the ball away instead of lobbing a 85 yard pick six to Hall we win the damn game.
-
Good points. Plus, JA had just taken a Chris Williams, so I dont think its a stretch to say he would have taken an OL.
-
Your nuts, lol. Seriously though, not only is Orton playing better than Cutler, the draft picks we have lost have crippled the influx of talent. Plus you could make an argument that Orton would be a better fit for the Martz offense.
-
lol I read this crap about him and about threw up. This dude is clueless.
-
Yeah but the line actually got better as the game wore on. In the second half, they were opening up holes and giving Cutler time. If that idiot does throw the pick six at the damn ten yard line, WE WIN THE GAME. To me, you can only argue that one pick is not Cutlers fault. The picked slant to Knox, Hall had clearly jumped it. Aikman said Knox has to fight underneath, but there is no way he is doing that because Hall was two feet in front of him and Knox doesn't have the strength to do that. The pick six speaks for itself. The last one is on Jay too. You can say Knox is not going full speed, but he was not open and he wouldn't have been when going full speed. Its a horsesh*t read, the ball never should have been thrown. I agreed with your first thought, we got fleeced.
-
lol I dont know. Maybe. To me Cutler keeps digging his own grave here. I mean, to say you know a db is reading you like a book, clearly jumping routes, and you still throw that ball at him with his piss poor mechanics, and that you would do it again is just insane. Even the biggest Cutler apologists cant dispute that.
-
Man, the Jeff George comparisons are getting more and more accurate
-
Sorry dude, I'm not seeing that. If I'm the quarterback coach I am ripping his ass for throwing balls on two of those when the CB had clearly jumped the route before the ball was away. And that last throw was a effing joke. Hey man, I'll give credit where credit is due, but not after a five turnover performance. All I want is wins. I dont give a crap if its a 7-6 game every damn game, just give me the wins.
-
This is the result of a turnover prone offense being run by a turnover prone qb. Another FRIKIN game we should have won. This is bullcrap.
-
Dude, your obsession with proving Cutler is not a turnover magnet is borderline creepy. Even Aikman said he doesn't know what the hell Cutler is doing. Just admit it and move on.
-
Well, its tough to win when you turn it over six times, five by your quarterback.
-
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Oh jason, when all you do is look at the receiver to plan to throw to from the snap its called locking on. You notice that Hall is jumping these routes right? Even Aikman says so it must be the truth, right? Well hopefully Cutler will play better on this last drive and we will win, right? Cause that is what it is all about.
-
Well lets see what Martz and Cutler can dial up here......hopefully its not another turnover
-
Looks like we need the defense or special teams to get us a win.
