Here's an idea...how about putting (or at least trying) Hester in as an RB??? Maybe a "scat back" type of runner? He is obviously elusive and realistically his talents as a return specialist are going to diminish and/or teams are going to figure out how to defend against his returning. As long as the line is decent enough to protect him from getting stuffed behind the line. Meanwhile, they could also bring in another legit bruiser type back (Turner or the like) and compete with Benson.

Also, besides Hester, there is evidence of Brendan Ayanbadejo needing to be kept as long as Hester is in Chicago. In almost every clip he (B.A. #94) is near Hester and helping him break it big. It would be an intriguing pick up to get someone like Martz. Especially given the Lovie connection at St Louis. And the fact that Turner SUCKS!!! This could help in the development of Grossman (granted he would need a one year INCENTIVE LADEN contract to see what he could do). And release Griese to make room for a new QB...probably through draft. Meanwhile, the way Martz likes to throw could help in getting the running game going a bit. And since Benson isn't going anywhere then drop one of the other two, preferably not AP and go to the Free Agent Market. Actually I would be ok with losing Benson alltogether myself. If Berrian goes, find someone else in FA and or draft. There you go...

Whoops, my bad. I must have been thinking of someone else. I thought that CFA said something about him thinking about staying there. Who could blame him? Hawaii and bikinis or some bottom feeder in the NFL? Hmm....

Anderson will cost WAY too much. I think the Bears will have better luck with McNabb and probably have to say goodbye to Grossman and Griese. Although that could all depend on how things go this Monday night etc. Colt Brennan would be an intriguing sign, although he is kinda small and think he is considering sticking it out another year in Hawaii. Cut ties with Mike Brown. I am sorry but he is no good past about 3-4 weeks. Keep the others. DROP TURNER!!

Hello. Dave here, formerly known as Alaskan Bear. Came over after "Bearstalk" was relocated. What happened, did Bobby Petrino have control on that site or what? I am 37 years old and live in Alaska...hence the moniker. I want to thank the guys that set this site up to get back to talking Bears stuff. The loss of that "refuge" was most definitely missed. Good to see everyone here.
