Battle at LT
Josh Simmons is looking like the steal of the draft so far. He's huge and athletic. I would talk like to see Braxton put on 15 pounds of good weight in the off season. The extra anchor strength weight will help solve his bull rush problem. Sadly for him, the timing is bad to get a good contract with us. If they see something good, maybe he comes back.

Except Stinger. He was the first that had the balls to post...🤪

What I really enjoyed, is that this board went silent during the game. It says everything about what we treasure...

Dang, we have a soft tissue epidemic.

Good coaches build trust first. I can imagine the asst coaches telling the players it's not good enough, very vocally. Then BJ comes in and does the build up with a mention of the effort. Lose the first game and BJ says, we were right there. We had it and blew it. Let's go! Then, comes the ass whooping in Detroit. Now it's time for the towel snap. The public towel snap, after the first game, would have been deflating. Now, the players have friends family asking them about working harder and being more resilient. We should see some improvement after adversity this week. Bear down!

Battle at LT
Could be. I'll, take Chuck every day and twice on Sunday. Bruce did one finger push ups. When Chuck does push ups, the earth moves and Chuck stays where he is...🤪

Battle at LT
Yup. Time on task and continuity is one thing, but getting beaten one on one is another. Braxton is playing himself out of millions. The injury recovery timing is bad, but that's a football life. Watch him hit the squat rack with a vengeance and screw us over. Larry Borom getting good reviews tonight...🤯

Battle at LT
Braxton has been a problem in pass pro. He gave up eight pressures last week. The bull rush continues to be a problem for him.

Running Game an Issue
Roschon Johnson is apparently in the doghouse. When BJ was asked about his role in the offense, BJ said "he has a role on special teams".

Jonah Jackson Contract Extension
One thing we do know is that they gave Jackson an extension after the Thuney trade. That's telling...

Y'all Need to Relax...
We choked in the first game and got our ass kicked in the 2nd. Prior to the season beginning we had the discussion of how long it would take for the Ben Johnson team to take shape. Nobody on this board said it would be instant. We agreed it would be between week six and eight weeks before the offense would click. We never really discussed how long it would take the defense. Defense usually happens faster as but we have had a lot of injuries to hinder the process. Who predicted we would win the division? None of us. Caleb got better this week. That's all that counts.

That's what I saw, thanks...

Off topic, but... Can you find a stat on time to QB rate? Or pressure rate. I'm not gonna lie, the GB defense looks terrifying...

Week one stat that is not good. The Bears were number one in the NFL for WR separation and Caleb missed them.

Special Teams is a Problem
That's not an option. If we lock the ball out of bounds and they decline. The ball would be spotted where it went out of bounds. Kicks Out of Bounds:If a kick goes out of bounds before being touched by a player, the penalty is 25 yards past the spot of the kick, or the ball is placed at the spot it left the field of play, whichever is more advantageous to the receiving team.

Special Teams is a Problem
Nope. He was directly told to kick it out the back of the end zone. Straight from Ben Johnson's press conference.
-
Special Teams is a Problem
I'm reading that it's automatically placed on the 40.

Special Teams is a Problem
Carmen and Jurko were blowing major crap to Johnson for not having Santos kick the ball the ball out of bounds due to him not being able to kick it out the back.

I hate Edmunds and our fans. The two biggest bitches in all of sports. Our team fought and Chicago fans boo. I've said it for years and hate it. Chicago fans suck...

Parsons to Packers ffs
He also had a couple of pressures. It wasn't a Mack game, but he definitely put her fuel in their pass rush.

It may be a part of it, but GB's front seven is nasty. My main hope is that Detroit had to replace their interior three OL this year. Detroit, also didn't generate any pressure against their OL.
