What a disfuncional organization. they let Flus give his Monday presser--and the whole world knows he's gonna get raked over the coals in that, THEN, two hours later they release that he's fired. WTF? Not classy at all. And now, the one guy that has shown some promise with Caleb is removed from his primary task to run this crap show. Do they have an end game? Brown should not be our next coach. Three games and the rest of the season as interim will not make him solid enough to lead the Bears next year. All they've done is used Brown as a stopgap and I can't see that as helping in the teams progress.
-
Yes, Brown must not be saddled with HC. We are getting good development with Caleb under him. Make him HC and we take a big step back.

A Friggin Men!

God, I sure hope it looks different next year. If not, we're not stopping anyone, again.
-
All falls on Flus. It is his staff for ST and he's responsible.
-
Agree completely. D is supposed to be Flus' strong point, yet, when it's 4th quarter and the game's on the line his D craps down their pants. There are no more excuses for keeping Flus.
-
Yes he's at or near the top of the list, see Vince Dooley and Abe Gibron.
-
Actually it's well past time. But if they can't see the obvious this franchise is in more trouble for a long time coming.
-
So he's untouchable? Above everyone else on the team? Can't be called to task for petty behavior? If he is, then Poles and Co have screwed the Bears. I see that he's a great WR, I was glad we signed him in the offseason. But he now needs to act like a professional that deserved that contract, and I'm not seeing it.
-
But he could still be a blocker. Unless he was injured, and he was limping, he just quit on the play and the team. Unacceptable.
-
I agree with everything you say. And it gets us back to mediocre coaching. I just pray they don't screw up Caleb.

Cole is a leader on this team and he has the skills. Hell, in the pregame on ESPN radio Poles talked about a discussion with Cole after the Washington debacle and it sure seemed Poles sees Kemet as a leader.

Can't disagree more on QB. Caleb has the moxy and the skill we haven't seen here. The biggest problem I see is the Oline breaks down AND he does have the hero mentality. Coaching should be hitting him up on just hitting the check downs, but it seems they aren't. I think we have our franchise QB and that this staff is a danger to him and us as fans.
