  1. And I am praying that Flus never forgets those FUBARS and corrects it. And Poles idea of "consistency" might not be something to desire with Flus.
  2. So I should grab some of these bonds to "support the team"? LOL
  3. He probably mumbles something about we've turned it around, we won the last game, now we're 1 and 4. LOL
  4. Washington didn't take him. He's now on to the Chargers for an interview.
  5. Agree 100%. And I thought those questions about Stroud were useless. Hindsight is something no one has. Poles, and Warren, kept coming back to stability and the plan. I am trusting him on this. Of course, they made it clear next year needs to show much more, so I see that as Flus has got to coach or hit the road.
  6. Spot on. Sad, but ver accurate analysis.
  7. imDo, Flus was the benefactor of a healthy D roster and of Poles getting Sweat when he did. I am NOT happy with Flus' record in the division, and his record with fouth quarter leads, for those reasons alone he should be released. The record and eye test say he's never leading us to the Super Bowl he is just not a good game time coach.
  8. Stop it, please. It's been 3 years and Fields is not going to "ball out." He doesn't see the field, can't make quick reads or throws. He's an athlete plugged in to QB position. Maybe keep him this year, but for God's sake quit the ifs and buts on Fields and draft a QB for the future. And yes, I still want Poles to trade that first pick for a franchise-changing haul as well.
  9. As do I. Poles is going to get this right.
  10. I'm still trending on trade that no. 1 overall for a boat load of picks now and in the future. Hey, we could still get a QB at 9.
  11. Nah, how can you jinx a team that hasn't beat the Pucker since forever? Today is the day we take it to 'em!
  12. Didn't hear that, but not surprised.
  13. Agreed. Williams is a prima donna and I want us to get a king's ransom for the no. 1. There are other QBs in this draft that can sit behind Fields while Poles builds a balanced, deep team.
  14. I think we lost that game.
  15. Agreed. He's a good coach, but not elite.
  16. Saw that too. And I agree with you that Fields is a good runner, but teams have figured out he does not read Ds and he holds the ball too long. If, as Sanchez said, we can't have him and a rookie QB too, then I guess Fields has to go. I feel that Fields wouldn't be such a distraction.
  17. I get your point Alaska, but do you think Justin will ever take us to the Super Bowl? I don't and he hasn't shown the HE has IT to beat teams. Hell, he was spotted a ten point lead yesterday and did nothing in the second half to convince me he's a winner. Talented, yes he has talent. QB talent? Nope. I think the smartest thing for us is to keep Fields, trade the No. 1 pick for more picks (another no. 1 for next year) and then draft a QB latter in the draft. And Harbaugh is not going to be an option here because Warren was his enemy when he ran the Big Ten.
  18. Yep, if the choice is keeping Fields or drafting Williams, I keep Fields.
  19. He's not playing that game. And I agree, i'd pass on him as no. 1.
  20. Yep. Just watched the Chargers game and the Pat are really bad.
  21. Something like that is way beyond the coaching staff we now have. Bringing in a competent group has to be a priority this offseason.
  22. Agreed. Justin has exceptional athletic ability. I just don't think he'll ever develop into a top QB. But hey, maybe the OC from the Raven could do it here?
  23. I think you presented a lot of the excuses for Fields in the first part of your post. No denying he has faced hurdles as a pro, but still I havn't seen anything that says he's developed into a QB that can overcome those and still produce. He just lacks the ability to see the field and react quickly with the passes. Taht being said, I do agree with your last part. Our two picks can set up the franchise, and us fans, for a very good future.
