Bell is playing himself out of a job, fumblitis.
  2. I'm for the continuity group. Without Cutler getting hurt we would have been in the payoffs. The O was beginning to work with the system.
  3. Agree. QB was our Achiles heel. If McCown had been here we would have had a good chance winning some of those we handed away. Franchise forte and let Barber and Bell be the backups. Then focus on getting some plass blockers on the OL.
  4. Agree that if Martz is back then McCown should be the backup. Bell looked good, keep him. Please rework this D so we are not dinked all the way down the field over and over again.
  5. Yes, a very Merry Christmas to all my suffering Bears compatriots!
  6. Crap! I hate the Puckers!
  7. Rather see Enderle as well. Don't think McCown is going to offer much more production, but Hanie had to go.
  8. Yes!!! Martz was right about Hanie. Tice is wrong on Webb, he ain't no LT.
  9. At this point it's just about position in the 2012 draft. This group could not get a win after Cutler went down. Just pathetic all the way around, D and O.
  10. The D is so soft on passes, I'd et even the Colts could throw on us.
  11. Hanie is hopeless. He is not an NFL QB.
  12. Me thinks that DBs playing that far off the line are going to be worked. Damn.
  13. No doubt, and we have been finding ways to screw up in spades recenty.
  14. TD Idonije! Game is a comedy of errors.
  15. Kool aide says we could win 2 of the last 3. But not sure the kool aide is gonna last!
  16. He has been caught. Expecting JA and the Bears to be more thorough than the police is a reach. If this was so evident earlier, then Hurd would already have gone down. So me, I don't blame JA or the Bears for anything here. Hurd is the turd in all this.
  17. Damn! This kid will go away forever.
  18. Yes I do. I would get to see them on TV and, for the payers andtea, they'll make some more $. So it's good for all. And I agree, they aren't going anywhere without Cutler. And I really don't want him to rush back and screw up the hand.
  19. I agree. Cutler could really take off with the same system next year. And the way things are going in the NFC, we are going to need points from the O in bunches to compete. We also are going to need to get some depth on D, these guys are aging.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but i think the OL will be fine next year after all the experience they are getting. Webb is a weak link, but he is getting valuable experience and can only improve. I'd go for WR in the first round or DE, whichever is the better athlete when we draft. I also would pick up an OL in the third round to add depth, and release Omyale yesterday!
  21. Preaching to the chior here.
  22. Think you're right on Tice. He should get some offers for a promotion from someone in the league.
  23. ChileBear replied to madlithuanian's topic in Bearstalk
Agreed. We are now suffering what Martz told us last year about Hanie. He is not an NFL QB.
  24. I read they ran out of gas. With the mad substituting that I saw for the DL after every play at the end, I believe it.
  25. Yep, three more losses coming up. And please, don't jepordize Cutler by rushing him back.
