Reason #4 why I love this team! (10 total)
That play by Peanut saved our bacon. It could be one of the plays of the year. He is definitely on his way to the Pro Bowl.

The Bears Are Not What We Thought They Were!
Oh yes. 5-1 is a good thing. And the D is getting some swagger. I love it. Could the O improve? Hell yes, and they have more than half a season to get it worked out. But when I see Cutler and Marshall hook up for 3rd down completions I'm filled with optimism that it's going to come together.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears
Thought the same. Bush could have gotten it behind Chilo.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears
Tice says he's a hard worker. Looks to me like he's working hard at finding ways to f#*k up!

Farewell (original) Mongo
Echo that. I still remember him from watching Paper Lion as a kid. Respect.

Lovie and Bears talking extension
Let's be patient. We haven't won anything yet Let's get to the playoffs and go from there. The season has just started and quite a few of us here were frustrated after the collapse last year. Produce and THEN give him the $.

AND THAT'S A CHICAGO BEARS WINNER!!!!
Well, there ya go Madlith, they got over 40. I love it!

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
But hey, I'll take that TD strike to Jeffry too!
-
Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
I'd prefer a bit more of the running game now, particularly on 1st down.

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
SOOOOOOO glad the D took it in!!

PEANUT!!!!

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
Alot of work for 3 points. At least the D should be rested. Turn over time.

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
Nice drive, but perhaps too much attention to Marshall down there. And is Carimi trying to make Webb look good?
-
Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
3rd & 7 and they get it. Then a long completion. Step it up D.

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
So frustrating to see those third downs converted.

Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
Gotta get more pressure on Gabbert.

Chris Williams Permanent Residence In the Doghouse
The facts don't lie. And he's not even being considered as OG. Looks like he's just insurance in case of injury at this point.

Chris Williams Permanent Residence In the Doghouse
Yep. Webb still hasn't proven anything to me yet.
-
Bears @ Jaguars, 10/7/12
Looking for: D to stay solid. OL to build on last game. NO INJURIES. A Bears blowout, but just win!
-
Would everyone agree
Yep. And I think we are all waiting and hoping that the O rings up 40+ points. Don't think that's gonna happen much. Drives get bogged down, that's just the way it is. Still, if the D continues at this pace, we aren't gonna need the O to blister folks. Yes, I'd like them to get TDs on every drive, but that ain't gonna happen. My hope, win the division, and march methodically through the playoffs and get that Super Bowl win. The time is now, caue we all know the D is going to need some work in the upcoming season.

Holy guacamole
Come on Jason, have a little Kool Aide and now back-handed complements. LOL But yeah it will be a focus of attentin if the OL has come together or it was just a perfect storm.
-
Bears @ Cowboys, 10/1/12
Agreed. All eyes on the O, if they don't bring it it will be another long prime time night.

We must not be happy with Bell...
Bush, yes, my dumb mistake. Replacement refs caused it. LOL

We must not be happy with Bell...
Bell has a shoulder injury. Probably won't practice this week. So they're taking a look around in case.

Boo Hoo Packers
Go ahead, shoot yourself in the foot! No doubt that with this happening to the media darling Puckers on Monday ight and giving them their second loss in three games, wheels will start turning, regular refs will get back and the Puckers will get the calls they will need to win it all and show that love right triumphs over all! Give me a break!
