  1. I think you can get a good starter with your second pick and dont think he will be there for our 3rd. So is he worth the risk? I think with White being injured last year, I think Pace doesnt take the risk of him not turning out a stud.
  2. Why would you not get their first back? 1/one of the seconds and maybe a 4th. You have to get their first in any deal and that would be a perfect place to draft Ragland.
  3. Wentz will not be there, but that would create a great trade scenario if he was.
  4. Incognito resigned with Buffalo, so that doesnt matter
  5. Aldon Smith is an interesting name. He is currently suspended until november, so he wont be around for most of the season, but going forward could be interesting.
  6. Wow did a good job of putting that together.
  7. Pick 8 free agents we bring in and you get 1 in the 8-9 mil range 5 in the 4-6 mil range 2in the 1 to 2 mil range Guys be realistic, we will not get Jackson, Trevathan and Kelechi Osemele. We will get one of those choices. my list Trevathan for 8 mil Jeff Allen/OG for 5 to-6 mil Jaye Howard/DT for 6 mil ( he has reported that he wants 8 mil, but I dont think he gets it Prince Amukamara/CB for 5 to 6 mil Dewayne Allen/TE for 5 mil ( I think we trade Bennett on draft day and get a 5th round pick) Jarid Crick/DE for 3 to 4 mil David Burton/FS for 2 mil( ties to Fox land him here) Blair Powell/RB for 2 mil (competes for the #2 job) Our own free agents we bring back Jenkins/DE-Porter/CB and Miller at TE
  8. I think your going to get disappointed this free agent period, because we wont be bringing in a big money guy. Im hoping we give Trevathan the 8 mil he will probably get, and then a bunch of lower priced FAs.
  9. I am warming up to having him as our first pick. He should be there.
  10. We are not in on any big time money players as per statement from Pace. I think it translates the same as last year. I player for good money and with a larger cap space several players in the 3 to 5 mil range. I think we add 6. We are not in on the Wilkersons, Jackson ( to much money) or the Eric Berry.
  11. I have been reading some good things about Jihad Ward. This list is incomplete, I seen on twitter several other QBs we met with , but a good list to start with.
  12. I was listening to Matt Bowen on the score and he loves Ragland, said if he was drafting he would be drafted over higher rated players. He is a stud and leader and will define your defense.
  13. I don't necessarily want him as my first choice, but if the draft falls as you suggest in your other topic, the Bears may draft him. Everybody has an opinion, here is one mans. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2620463...te-poor-40-time
  14. In Fangio's defense it is technically 3 DTs. If you look at his schematic, it is LDT NT and RDT, which many FAs could actually fit into that role.
  15. Not that I have seen, mainly because he will demand to much money. I did see us linked to David Burton /FS for Denver talk that he would be interested in the Bears because of John Fox. Also seen Trevathan say the same thing.
  16. Those are good names, get Howard, Trevathan, and Gibson and then draft a OLB and we got something going on. Jack, or I would be good with Spence if we grab those three.
  17. Jackson is not an elite player, a very good player that because of a good SB is going to get over paid. We dont need to do that. We can sign guys like Jaye Howard, Ian Williams, or Akiem Hicks for under 5 mil a year and have a decent starter going forward and then draft the elite players.
  18. Someone I pulled out of this was BRANDON DOUGHTY, in college his completion pct. was 68.6 and finished with 111 TDs in startering for 3 years. The most important trait I got away from an interview was he loves football and hates to lose. for a 5th or 6th round pick, he could be a sleeper.

I seen where we interviewed Hunter Henry at the combine. I think to actually get him we would need to draft him in the second round. Another name to through out there that I like is Tyler Higbee, good size and decent speed.
  20. I did not mean he is a middle rounder, just that we met with him, he wont make it out of the first 15 picks. I also forgot to mention we met with Christian Hackenberg
  21. I have heard a few names that we are pursuing in FAgency: I mentioned Ian Williams in another topic. I heard the name Tashawn Gibson mentioned by Brad Biggs. At the combine they had interviews with QBS: Kevin Hogan Dak Prescott Carson Wentz Jacoby Brissett I would say these QBs tell me we will be picking a QB in mid rounds and he is on that list
  22. I would hate to take an injured player but Smith is a potenial stud in the same mode as Luke Keatley, I would take that chance.
  23. big is not a bad thing, 6'6" at 308 with a 5.10 40 its number 8 for top 10 DTs. I would say if you get him in the 3 rd, that would be a good pick.
  24. I think with the comments yesterday by Pace about Liking Leno and addressing the oling in FAgency that we leave out the two OTs I think there will be one QB taken maybe two so we rule out QB at our spot. So that leaves these consensus defensive players in the top 10 Bosa/OLB Jack/OLB or ILB Buckner/DE Ramsey/CB or S Hargreaves/CB These are consistent top 10 picks Others showing up in the top 15 Jaylon Smith/OLB or ILB Noah Spence/OLB Jarron Reed/DE A'Shawn Robinson/DT Robert Nkemdiche/DT or DE Shaq Lawson/OLB Sheldon Rankins/DT Ragland/ILB This group has some upside players So if one of the first group drops, it will be one of those picks. Out of the next group our pick will be: Jaylon Smith Noah Spence A'Shawn Robinson Jarron Reed Reggie Ragland out of that group I would take Smith first
