Many here do not think Hester is a #1 reciever. I (personnaly) think Knox could put up the same #'s as Hester or close to it and maybe even more. Look, I love me some Hester and do not want to trade him. I was just stating (because of the topic trade bait) he might be worth more to certain teams than we Bear fans think.

I don't want to get rid of Hester and agree with you about Harris. I was just stating that Hester might be worth more to another team than we Bear fans think.

I wonder WHY he was #2 among coaches that players would like to play for. Does that mean he would be a better coach than Cowher,Billicheck, or the last 10 coaches that won Super Bowls?I want a coach that pleases the fans,orginization,and players. Not one that the players would more like to play for,do you know what I mean?

They kick to him every game this season. And if he woud average 2-6 scores a year on returnes, and the starting reciever that would take his place in the lineup would get 6 scores,we would score more,we would probably win more games.

If I was a fan of another team,I would be interested in Hester. But I would use him only on punt and kickoff returns,and maybe as a decoy on certain downs, which I wish the Bears would of stayed with. To me he WAS the best returner of all time and could still possible be if used right. Considering that,I think he has great value for 2/3rds of the nfl teams. What a great game changer he WAAASSS. Remember those days when the other team was punting or kicking off,if was electrifing.

But I think he could play either gaurd and possible some tackle. He helped out Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson.And I believe he is still doing good for Denver. He might be doing better than anybody we have right now.

These are some players,who I believe use to be with us,who are starting somewhere else and for the most part are doing pretty good. John st Clair, Casey Wigeman, Mark Columbo, Gandy, Berrian, Benson, Thomas Jones, Tank Johnson, Orton and there might be more. I was just thinking the other day what we had and what we have now. Also we used to have the best return man in the history of the NFL (Hester) and still have him,but man do I miss what he used to do. To me it seems that our players under the L.Smith regime (how do I say this) have a lot of say so, are not disiplined enough,can tell the coach who they like on the team and who they don't like,have no urgency in games we are behind, half the o.line does not clap at the huddle break (I hate that) specially when I hear and see other teams do it in such,cohesiveness. I also hate it when our running back is stood up and the O.line just stands there waiting for the whistle to be blown,instead of pushing the gang foward for more yards.There are many other little things (that add up) that I notice that piss me off. It's probably just me, but man do I hate the little missed things.

You do't take out Payton on 3rd and long like most starting backs, because he could run,catch,block and throw.I think he threw 6 or 7 td,s in his career.

This is how I see it= Our playcalling especiallally offense is,"" O.K. we'll call this play to surprise them,naaaaa they'll think we're trying to surprise them, let's call what they expect and hope their thinking surprise". That's one reason why so so so many of us say we are predictable. We try to out think opponents but we wind up getting out thunk.

So you think there is no leadership on defense. Lovie is calling the D shots. Why is putting the microscope on the players better than getting on the coaches? The coach needs to get on the players ass,then the player needs to get on the opposing teams ass. If they play like chumps,the coach needs to get on their ass or put someone new in. What would this board be like if we can't bring up things that personnaly come to our mind? Sorry I got on the coach a few days ago. I think today much more are ripping the coach, so maybe it was ok for me to post what i did then.

I was responding to the article you posted. Not what you read or saw. You do not know me,so don't think you know what matters to me. 5 minutes on lovie during the game? Were you watching it in super slow motion? This is the second time in 2 days you've tried to play me in your (I know everthing game).Read my chit better, before you reply ok.

Maybe Williams is a better LT than Pace (quicker) and Pace a better RT than Williams (experience). Williams needs to be tried at LT, because Pace cannot handle it.

Tillman said "At half time Lovie told us to start playing" wow now that's what I call emotion by the head coach. Out of all the things Lovie said or did not say,this is what Tillman told the reporter. Mr. nice is nice, smart, calm,etc. but he's not an nfl coach to me. Even Dungy used to get pissed and complain at the refs and his players.

You guys are the only ones talking about screaming,not me. I want to see him walk up to more players,in their face,eye to eye and get busy by coaching them. I guess we are different. I DO give a crap what the coach does on the sideline. Some people like emotion,some don't,I do.He does not need to yell,but get a little pissed at certain players I would like.

Let me ask you a question. If your boss got mad at you because you were under perfoming big time(45-10), how would you respond? And how would you respond to under performing and you boss tells you NOTHING. Plus,traditional Bear football is different to vikings and cowboys football.
