Roy Williams
Before today, I would have told you hell yes, I want Roy Williams on this team... but after watching him today, I'll pass.

Benson signs with Bengals
In hindsight, we should have reached and picked Jamaal Brown. However, that would have been one hell of a reach. I think everyone wanted a trade down, but there was no trade partner.

Al Davis is a tool
oh well... Just gives the Bears a chance to hire Lane Kiffin as our OC and assistant head coach in the offseason

Looking back on it...
Why would you still draft Brohm? There's a reason the 7th rounder Matt Flynn is ahead of him on the depth chart and will get the start on Sunday if Rodgers isn't healthy.

Looking back on it...
Um, how about both?

Lance Briggs
Urlacher has been very good so far. He's no longer a DPOY candidate like he used to be in his prime, but he is still a very good player.

Tommie Needs to Shut it Down...
Dusty had his moments yesterday. He is very good vs. the run and made some very good plays yesterday against the run. However, he is terrible in pass rush and offers no moves. And on that one goal line play, he just got drove back 10 yards against the double team. I don't know what he was thinking in that situation, he's gotta drop that double and create a pile in the hole.

Our next game against Detroit.....
Hopefully we can get both Forte and Jones 100 yards each next week.

No huddle offense
I was pleasantly surprised when we ran that. That was very good coaching on part by the Bears to use to no huddle. I believe Ron Turner is actually a very smart offensive coach. His problem though is he doesn't adjust well, and he calls some of the stupidest plays at times.

Kyle's passes look more crisp tonight
So far Kyle has had one good game (vs. the colts), two decent games (vs. the Eagles and Bucs), and one bad game (vs. the Panthers). He has played well above my expectations so far this year. And anyone still calling for him to be benched for Grossman is an idiot.

05 Bears Draft= Pathetic
LOL, people... LB is the least of our concerns.

Bucs TE Stevens: "People on the Bears got exposed"
Jermey Stevens should shut the hell up. No one should care what this rapist scum bag thinks.
-
Dante Love
If it is at all possible, I could see him making a come back. But that's only if he has the desire and love for the game to attempt such a comeback.

A missing element overlooked
I'm not disagreeing with you about that. I disagreed about your statement about us not having a game changer pass rusher for a full season since Colvin.

Expectations
People need to realize a lot of players don't respond well to getting yelled at like little children. Do some situations call for some tough love? Of course, but being animated for every little thing like some coaches are isn't going to due much good, and in fact, could cause the players to turn on you. I would bet anyone that Lovie shows plently emotion when his team has a real shitty practice or something of that sort. I had a coach before who would go on these rampages during games and would yell his head off, and this did exactly the opposite of lighting a fire under the players. Needless to say, under that coach, we didn't do very good.

Noots' Notes Game 3: 27-24 OT Loss to TB
And if this was Rex, you'd say he had a good game. Give me a break.
-
Kevin Jones
So take out the hot hand in Forte and use Jones? Doesn't exactly make sense to me. Jones' lack of playing time should not be something to be complaining about now, as there has been no reason yet to take away carries from Forte. Just a stupid, stupid reason for you to piss and moan about. My god, get a grip.
-
Expectations
I'm just wondering if you hang out in the Bears locker room or attend practices and meetings with the Bears everyday? For all we know, Lovie chews out his players/team in private. And I think that's a better move then bitching to the media like other coaches do.
-
Expectations
lol, why would we draft him? Because we aren't paying enough money for Briggs and Urlacher?
-
The offensive play I really want to see
If we were smart, we'd just move Olsen to wideout... He's too one dimensional to be an effective TE, IMO.

A missing element overlooked
What? Tommie Harris has shown that in the past, Anderson was as dominating as they come his rookie year, and last season Ogunleye was one of the best DE's in the league. Granted so far it hasn't been like this year, but we have had some players with some dominating seasons as pass rushers recently. The problem is finding some consistency with these guys.

My time to rant
Oh, by the way, I'm not defending Tillman. It was a completely idiotic thing to do, but I'm not gonna pin this loss on him.

My time to rant
Only 5 regular season games left... man, I am gonna miss it.

My time to rant
Right now I'm basically hoping for a walk on at either a lesser D-1 FBS, a D-1 FCS school, or a D-II school. If it's less then D-II however, I'd rather just focus on getting my education. I love football and all, but I don't want to sacrifice around half of my time to playing football when there is no way for me to get any scholarship money and there are less people at the game then at my high school games. I am planning on sending out some of my film to some schools sometime this month. Hopefully I garner some interest from these schools, and I am a "preffered walk-on." Basically, there are two types of walk-on's, a preffered one who goes through all of camp, and a walk-on who shows up when school begins and is basically the team's tackling dummy until they leave. Obviously, I hope I am a preffered walk-on.

Orton SUCKS
finally, a half-way decent post by you
